This is a nice area to hang out and walk around. I wish it had more shade, but it is well landscaped and always clean. I like the trees and I love the dog sculptures (Dogtown 🐶😎). It can be miserable when it's crowded though.

Nice spot for events and local bands. Local restaurants and coffee shops are all within walking distance. Close to the river and Simmons arena. We were there for the Northern Lights Christmas event and most restaurants were packed on a Saturday night.

The Northern Lights event was a lot of fun. Lots of food trucks, a band playing, and several events for kids before the fireworks. Everything felt very safe and family-friendly. I wouldn't recommend getting there more than two hours before the fireworks start, or your little ones may run out of things to do.

Not a bad place that would be nice for gatherings, rallies, walking, aerobics or other types of exercise, or other events. There's a decent amount of space in the main gathering area of the square for perhaps a few hundred people or so. A few restaurants are also in the general square area and the trolley rolls through the square to and from the downtown Little Rock side on a regular schedule. If there were more publicly held events there, it would be nice.
