AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Building reeks like someone/something either died or used the bathroom in there. Every light bulb is burnt out except for one, so it’s nearly impossible to see. Gate stays open WAY too long after a vehicle goes through it, would be insanely easy to get in behind another vehicle even if you didn’t know the gate code.

UPDATE: We rented a unit at this location for less than a month and it was broken into. We received an automated email letting us know that we needed to go look and make sure nothing was stolen and file a police report ourselves. So in other words, “good luck, figure it out”. Why does this place even bother having a fence or cameras if apparently neither of them work? We didn’t pay much to rent this unit, but I could have gotten this experience for $0 and still felt ripped off.

Probably the worst you’ll get when it comes to storage. Can’t get assistance with my storage unit after a break in and I can’t access the facility. Called the operator but it’s a constant loop of automated prompts. I’m moving my stuff asap. Z

EDIT 5/30/22: Customer Service was friendly & easy to work with; that's why the 2 stars remain. However, we were never able to get into main gate or either of the storage spaces we paid for after 4 days. The site Supervisor/Manager never made any attempt to contact us & of the multiple times we were on-site, NO ONE was anywhere near or in the office. Red Dot as a company investment, you need to seriously consider getting rid of this location.

5/26/22: So far this location has been a bust and a frustrating experience to say the least. The day after renting the units online, attempted to access the facility only to discover that we couldn't use the gate code because it hadn't been 24 hrs plus since renting. Customer Service (CS) gave us a temporary code, so great we're inside. Then we discovered Red Dot pad locks on both our units with no communication from the company providing combinations to unlock them. Again, CS tried to help by providing codes, 7 different codes, none of which worked. They also discovered that we had been given a unit that was marked in their files as unusable, so we had to switch units. Now we have 2 units in 2 separate bldgs. CS put in a ticket to get assistance from the site Manager/Supervisor; but their records show that person isn't supposed to be back on the property for 2 days. WTH!?!? I'm not sure if it's the location or the company, but so far I'm not impressed.

I'd give 0 stars if possible.
I rented a storage unit but when I get to the facility, access is denied.
The next day I called to cancel the unit. They told me it would take 24 hours to get my refund. 3 days later, I call again. It was never even logged that I had cancelled the unit. They told me there is a non- refundable $20.00 fee!
For a unit I was never allowed access to! Will never use again and would certainly NOT recommend!

I haven't seen or experience one of the most unprofessionally, closed minded Unnecessary and that never and doesn't know and put their personal standards on there customer the place is not clean and I've seen this same location being broken Into since I was a kid and my mom rented there. U have me black listed because I rode bike around the units on a beauty sunny

Since June 2022 I've had no problems until December 28th I received a text stating my unit was broken into. When I arrived at my unit. All my husband's belongs was gone. The thief broke off my lock. There's no cameras or no one to contact. I made a police report but I'm not sure if I'm going to receive anything for the things my husband lost. Now I have to move all my things out this week before this happens again. I do not recommend this storage to anyone. Bad business.

If I could give negative stars I would. This company at this particular location is highly negligent and shady. They were recently robbed and their response to their failure to protect the customers property has been abysmal. They have compounded the stress of having your property stolen or damaged by making access to my property impossible.
Locks were changed but correct codes aren't being given to the clients/ property owners. I am being left without the ability to check my property or follow up with insurance and police.
I have been misled and misdirected by representatives and told I must wait until next week for a supervisor to be available. This is less than 48 hrs after being informed of the robbery. The negligence and obstruction from this company has left me feeling robbed twice.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Not only are they shady their customer service is horrible. My unit was broken into so they switched me to a new unit then they charged me double the price of the old unit saying it's a new rental, but they won't give the new rental discounts. DON'T RENT FROM RED DOT!!!
