I had an interview yesterday with Valeria for a receptionist/front desk position.Valeria is a very young lady in her early 20’s. First of she ask me how I was doing, followed by how old are you Very unprofessional, like what my age has to do with a receptionist position? very disrespectful, unprofessional question to ask and very discriminatory. I am 44 years old and never in my professional life haven’t been ask that question. Immediately after that she went over about the job position, duties, etc…and stated that she will keep interviewing for that position, which to me that is perfectly understandable. Well, she keeps talking and then proceeds with, I do have other positions available. Ok, I asked her what are those other positions? keep in mind the position I was interested in was a Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm. She went on about several positions that will required me working until 9pm and weekends, 9-9 etc. I keep telling her the I appreciate the offer but I can’t accepted it, because I was just granted custody of my 1 year old granddaughter and would have problems accommodating for a babysitter. That I am just interested in the receptionist position mainly because of the schedule. Valeria then proceeded to tell me, that’s why she doesn’t have any kids of her own because she is too young and the only kid she considered as hers is her 11 years old little sister. Very disrespectful, humiliating thing to say, very unprofessional.

Tube una entrevista hay yo realmente no tengo mucha experiencia en ese tipo de trabajo se lo comente a la que me hizo la entrevista fui realmente honesta al final de mi entrevista le dije que estaba muy emocionada y ojala me dieran la oportunidad de trabajar hay al igual le dije que yo entendia si no me podian dar la posicion por mi falta de experencia yo solo queria entrar a trabajar y aprender algo nuevo pero que me dejara saber cualquier decision y ella me dijo que si y pues eso nunca paso yo hable en 2 ocaciones solo me decian que le iban a pasar el mensaje a la de recursos humanos y que ella me iba hablar igual nunca paso le mande un correo un viernes y me dijo que para el lunes ya iba a tener una decision que me iba a llamar la estuve esperando nunca llamo al dia siguiente le mande un correo todavia con la ezperansa nunca contesto 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 no se por que dejan a la gente asi deberian avisar cual sea la decision 😕 y pues estuvo bien por que desde un principio hubo falta de comunicacion
