I've lived in my condo for over 20 years, and since we've been with this horrible management company, RG, our monthly assessment fee continually increases, and the property becomes more and more dilapidated.

We also have had to pay "special" assessment fees for thousands more often than ever before.

RG has facilitated communist like governance by our HOA with almost no homeowner meetings, and no elections for years violating the CC&R/covenants.

Our place has become pretty dumpy, and I just got done filing a complaint with the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

If they're not criminals, they're very close to it.

For more than 2 years this company has repeatedly tried to automatically charge a relatives bank account for rent. (We cancelled autopay after numerous errors in their favor.) At first, I thought it was just a mistake that we weren't unenrolled from autopay. So we've called their 3rd party payment processor over and over again. That company says they're not trying to charge the account. They say RG is trying to charge the account. The bank says RG is trying to charge the account. Our only point of contact at RG says it's not them.

Around and around we go You paid your rent early in person? Oops, we auto pulled it too on the first. Yay double rent payment. No refunds.. Good news: you don't have to pay next month. Bad news: you will be eating Ramen in the dark.

Contact RG again. They act like this is the first time they've heard about the issue. They say they're sorry we never contacted their 3rd party payment processor when we've contacted them easily 10 times over TWO YEARS.

Finally tired of the dance, it's reported as fraudulent to the bank.They (RG) keep trying to auto pull money anyway and are rightly denied by the bank. Then they want a Non Sufficient Funds fee for the denied auto pay. Is it malice, greed, apathy, or incompetence? Unknown.

Paying the rent by check or money order a week early does not work. Still tries to auto pull. Paying the rent a week late in case they successfully pull a canceled autopay can incur an unwarranted late fee. Ask yourself which your relatives can more afford; a double rent payment, or rent plus late fee or NSF fee?

Makes you wonder.. How many units does RG collect rent from? How many use auto pay? If they cannot simply stop one erroneous recurring auto payment over 2 years time, how many other accounting errors are they missing? A government regulatory body or third party auditor will likely eventually answer the question.

If a company I was doing abundant financial business with operated in this manner, I would strongly reconsider my other options.

RG has met all of my property management needs. Over the last 40 plus years of owning rental properties, they rank within the top 1 or 2 best. Bonnie McGregor is my property manager at RG. She does an excellent job. Most importantly for me, she seems to understand my level of desired involvement in terms of potential tenants, maintenance requests, rental rates, and reviewing invoices. It just feels good.

I applied thorough a craigslist posting for casa de oro -a very inexpensive property .for senior citizens run by RG Investments and Mr Chickerini. I had 2 indepth conversations with Linda the onsite who was concerned about the 13 stairs that led to the apartment #29.
Never was I told there was a waitlist nor the tenant was being evicted.
I paid my 35.00 to Onsite management and was told once approved I would need an 800 deposit the next day
I was approved and was told that the tenant had not agreed to move Linda was not sure if RG Investments would evict this tenant. She said there had been another instance where RG had allowed a tenant 7 months to move. All this time not one mention of a waitlist.
So now I have a hard pull on my credit and Im out 35.00 for a non existent apartment
Whtch out for RG Investments. Craigslist ads for apartments that have waitlists.I have a call into Mr Chickerini.

This is the best property management company around. Pete, Jeff and the rest of their managers do a fantastic job taking care of their properties. I work with them and the whole company is fast and efficient super nice people to deal with. You can't go wrong!

We had a showing scheduled on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Came to the property and no one was there. Tried calling the number but they are only open Monday through Friday. Emailed the contact...no response. Whoever the real tenants are at Caminito Davila property, I hope they know that the company they hired is NOT the best to use for future needs.

Not only are they very unprofessional they treat their staff as disposable pieces even after years of service. They have had multiple lawsuits against them for the same reason. Just an overall poorly run business. Undeserving of support or business.
