Mario Jimenez, VP coastal/ northern CA District has always been extremely helpful in the 23 years. I’ve been a tenant here In San Diego. And a few few days ago I requested some service to a leaky kitchen sink faucet ,and it was handled extremely well by Cal Props’s technician Tyler who did an excellent job of notifying other tenants of water shut off and completing the task flawlessly? Both are extremely courteous and great to deal with.

My husband and I have been living in an apartment complex for the last 6 months and have experienced several property managers take over, but it wasn't until Cal-Prop took over where we felt that anything was getting done. We finally got our parking spots repainted, have an on-site facilities manager and our tickets are addressed right away! We are so happy to have them now and feel more comfortable in where we are living now. Alexis Vega has also been an exceptional property manager and answers right away and gets back to us in a timely manner. She has been very helpful!

I have lived in a house managed by Cal-Prop for nearly 8 years, and my experience has been outstanding. Throughout this time, I've had the pleasure of working with Hobie Manley, who has been nothing short of exceptional. Hobie is always professional, prompt, and seemingly available whenever needed. My initial skepticism about renting a home overseen by a property management company quickly disappeared thanks to his dedication and reliability. I couldn’t recommend him more highly and am genuinely grateful for the excellent service and support he has provided over the past 8 years.

I recently became a resident at one of the San Diego locations, and since moving in, I have encountered multiple issues with my unit, particularly regarding property management. One significant issue was the failure of the refrigerator that came with the unit. When it stopped working, it took two days for a replacement to be provided, resulting in the loss of all the groceries I had stored.

I reached out to the property manager, Eric, to discuss the possibility of reimbursement for the food loss. However, I was informed that management does not take responsibility for such incidents, as the refrigerator was replaced within two days. Unfortunately, this decision has left me disappointed, as I believe it does not reflect a commitment to resident satisfaction or accountability.

Given my experience, I have decided not to renew my lease, and I cannot in good faith recommend this property to others. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration for improving future tenant experiences.

Loving our new house, rented through Cal-Prop. We put together a list of little maintenance issues (jammed window, sticky door, etc), and they sent Tyler right out to fix them within days. Tyler their handyman was fast, professional, and open to discussion. So far has been a very positive experience with Cal-Prop and their support team.

This review is specifically for my current property manager Hobie Manley. Hobie has been the most helpful with recent repairs that my unit has needed. Some of them were very urgent plumbing issues and Hobie was very responsive and quick to get the job done. He’s easy to communicate with and great at his job. Just this past week I was Approved for my new home with the help of Kari and Matthew at Cal-prop. They have both been more than helpful and attentive to everything that I needed the answered questions and I'm sure it was not easy dealing with me since I am not tec savvy receiving documents and so forth was not where I shine, but they both were very patient and helpful. They stayed on top of it and made sure that I was able to get my keys right away. They were both so friendly and kind and I really enjoy both of them thank you guys for everything you did
