They just bought a complex here in Colorado and the change in management and what they are doing has been illegal.
I pasted the same review I posted on the actual apartment complex page.
When I started living here the experience was amazing, the old management were so nice would communicate with it’s residents from quick questions to things that may be a process but they still did everything to talk to us and give us answers. This management gave me hopes for staying with a property since I had the worse experience at my old apartments due to the office, maintenance and no communication. But now I am back at the same situation I go in the office to talk to someone didn’t even know we had new people but I get welcomed to a rude attitude and being told “that’s not my problem” and than you try to ask for some way to solve the issue and she’s acted like you are wasting her time and that she doesn’t even want to be here. I had hope to live here more than a year but I don’t think I will sign another lease unless things get better with the management but how this is going I have no hope. I have grew up in this industry with family and friends and how they are going about this Management change is illegal. A day notice that they are getting rid of the only way people had a way to pay rent because they work Monday through Friday just like the office so going to the store for a money order isn’t an option, even if it can be who will be in the office to even collect the money? The removal of the Flex pay plan with a two day notice is affecting so many of the neighbors. Changing the number and not telling the residents and than finally having the right number it rings than goes to a busy signal, No new office hours so we have no idea when the office is open every time I come by so I can talk to someone a sign is on the door that they are in a meeting or out of office but not sure when anyone will be back, I stopped by at 12 no one was there a man can buy to open for a second and said come back we open back at 2. I took the day off to get stuff figured out I work as well I can’t keep taking time off to get ahold of someone and no answer on the phone or door. I try to reach out to the new management NO ONE ANSWERS !!! We get no emails to even contact anyone , I want the old management bacak . . . .

Amelia Apartment homes in Canarillo is the worst complex you can choose to live at.
My daughter has been living in this nightmare complex for 1 year with absolutely no regards to her valid complaint of loud banging noise coming from her bedroom ceiling. This is a builder issue of plumbing and beams in the ceiling.
The unit has faulted building issues and absolutely nothing has been done except excuses from Chasity the regional and Diego the maintance supervisor. This complex has been through multiple management companies and employees. The only employee who responded was April whom lasted a few months. NOT Surprised!
DO NOT lease unit #203 you will hear constant noise from the unit and constant excuses from the management team. I am appalled by their disregard they have for their residents.
They have no idea how to manage a small complex of apartment units, leases are wrong , parking is a nightmare. If you are currently living here and paying for parking not on your lease you do not have to pay it. Do not pay it. They are scamming everyone of their residents by the poor communication, management and I have heard the ownership is even worse. A legal complaint has been filed and we are ready to fight for our daughter’s rental /mental peace she has missed out on and had to deal with for the last year. This place is a joke. Cirrus management and the ownership under WH4R CAMARILLO 96 OWNER LP
Should be ashamed !!!!
Do not move here !!! Read all the complaint reviews here.
We should have known when all her neighbors had swinging doors with new tenants and when we found out the last tenant moved out of her unit , that again Chasity the regional lied about.
Save yourself from a nightmare living condition.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Long story short, I lived in an apartment under Cirrus for two years, and fell extremely ill from mold poisoning due to extreme levels of several types of toxic mold present in the unit. I had professional testing done and despite the lab report showing this, management did absolutely nothing to look into it whatsoever besides sending the untrained maintenance man to look around... I've lost three years of my life due to mold poisoning and I don't wish it on my worst enemy. Charlene Batres was my specific point of contact under Cirrus and I cannot emphasize enough how horrible she was, and how careless she was when I brought all of this to her. These people don't care about your well-being at all, they only care how fast they can get the next tenant in to make money off of them, even if it's at the cost of letting them fall ill and putting their health at risk. So disgusting it makes me sick.

ZERO STARS - I lived at Heritage Park at Hilltop. It is a 55 and up community. There are many unarthorized guest living their. They take residents assigned parking, they claim the handicap parking as their own and assault residents that park there, they break the automatic locking doors bc they dont have key fobs to enter. I complained for over a week of neighbors constant and continued banging on the walls. They banged day and night 24/7. The onsite manager Lois Tarpeh did nothing to stop them. She never came to my unit nor sent anyone to my unit to listen and hear for themselves. I tried to contact Cirrus management but could not find any contact information for them. It got so bad i had to vacate my unit. This is a terrible management company. They do not manage the tenants. avoid at all cost. The only positive was the maintance guys. They were friendly and efficient and keep that nasty place clean.

I was incredibly grateful to have been a resident at the Mayfair Residences in Santa Monica up until recently. Charles Batres, the building manager, was extraordinary not just at her job but as as a neighbor. My sincerest thanks goes out to her and the maintenance crew at Mayfair. It was such a wonderful place to live.
I also had an incredibly pleasant experience with Julie Gomez who is the receptionist at their Woodland Hills corporate office. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and was quick to help offer me a solution. Could not have been a more delightful person to represent the company when you first walk in the door.

ZERO STARS. Cirrus is no longer what it used to be. After more than 10 years as their customer, we had to move out of our apartment due to a rent increase, ceiling leaks, and poor management. They don’t return your deposit, and the office staff is unhelpful and indifferent. They seem more focused on money than on valuing their customers. I requested a transfer to another property twice, but they didn’t assist me. It’s a shame because we had good years with Cirrus, but now it’s not worth it. Avoid this company at all costs—they will scam you and take your money. The apartments are far more expensive than others on the market, and there are hidden fees everywhere. They even charge you for your dog.

They don’t reply to calls, texts or emails. I’ve been waiting on several non-urgent repairs for over a year and those items are supposed to be resolved within 30 days per LA county. I’ve sent follow-up emails and texts about it but no response. Would give zero stars if possible. When they first took over they were very responsive but that is no longer the case.
Update 11/25:
You stated you can’t find me in your data base so try searching my name without the apostrophe. I am a current resident but I will not be disclosing the address here on as it is a public post. If you could give me a phone number or email address to contact you directly so we can resolve this I’m happy to do that. Or, Tamara, my building manager, could also help you verify my residence. Maybe you can get ahold of her because I can’t.

Response to "Owner": No, your supervisor did not change my experience. There was zero acknowledgement of the lying and bullying or unprofessionalism. The supervisor has the same problem the entire company seems to have: being argumentative and evasive. Just answer the damn phone or shut up and give me my money. What is so damn hard about answer simple questions!!!? Good RIDDANCE.
Update: 10/9/2024 I moved out on the 4th. It took them 6 weeks to do simple math and tell me what I owe them and then they closed my account so I can't pay them. She attempted to tell me I "must" make payments to them in person. Finally a supervisor explained that they never had any intentions of allowing me to finalize my account and always intended to use my deposit to cover rent and utilities. They failed to give me an itemized deduction list so I'm assuming there are no damages. This is my final interaction until I get my refunded deposit, if any other issues arise I'll just take them to court.
They refuse to answer very simple direct questions it takes multiple emails and calls to get a response. If this issue shows up in my credit or tenant reports I'll be contacting a lawyer. Absolutely awful people.
Original review from August:
Rent hike to the highest allowed by law, yet the property is filthy bc they canceled the daily cleaning. Elevator is broken constantly. Trash is left in the garage and all over the lawn. They don't respond to calls or emails. They are absolute ghosts. I've been waiting over two weeks to talk to someone about my lease and they just refuse to answer these VERY SIMPLE questions over email.
They also are asking me to "clean up" my balcony. If everyone else does, sure no problem! If no one else does, guess I'll call the city!
