One Star Is Too Generous for Western Property Group. Unfortunately, our experience with Western Property Group has been nothing short of disappointing. Let me break down the reasons why:
1. Unprofessional Leasing Agency:
Our agent, Lisa Smith, epitomizes their lack of professionalism. She is consistently unresponsive, making it nearly impossible to get a hold of her via email or phone calls.
2. Lack of Communication:
Despite paying our rent on time for three years, Western Property Group’s communication was abysmal.
When they decided to sell the property, they left us a voicemail that resembled an evacuation notice, which was highly unprofessional.
3.Neglect and Ignored Requests:
After signing the contract, communication became even worse. We couldn’t reach them for two years.
We begged for a swimming pool key we were paying for, but they never responded until the very end when we were already moving out.
Our AC malfunctioned, and they ignored our pleas for assistance.
The washing machine made loud noises, and again, they ignored us.
We even requested a clean fireplace, but they didn’t bother responding.
4. Money-Driven Approach:
Western Property Group seems solely focused on money. They prioritize showing properties and signing contracts but neglect tenant needs afterward.
5. No Accountability Above Agents:
Unfortunately, there’s no one above the agent level to address concerns. They can ignore tenants without consequences.

There are no words to describe such an unprofessional and disgusting company. Who hires these people?! Fair housing will be hearing from me about the way I was spoken to because of my name which is DISCRIMINATION. When I called to confirm the tour, the receptionist who answered didn't even tell me she was transfering me which she did to a mad woman name Lisa. Lisa right away starts yelling at the top of her lungs, "I DON'T BELEIVE YOU REALLY MAKE 3X THE AMOUNT!!!", "IM WAITING TO SPEAK TO YOUR LANDLORD!!" (lived at my residence for 7 years).

Looking at other reviews, Lisa has been disrespectful and descriminitive towards other ethnic women. She is unhinged and has some emotional and problems going on. 👎🏽

When I pulled up to the rental property for the 1pm tour, Karin was just as disgusting, the way she ignored me not even greet me. I have never done business with people who act like they are correctional officers. She didnt even bother to look at me when I told her I was here for the 1pm appointment but wanted to talk to the white guy who had no interest in renting that particular property. I ended up abandoning the apartment tour all together. She got out her car, her facial expressions were unpleasant. I proceeded to telling her Lisa is very unprofessional and very disrespectful and explained how she yelled on the phone. She didn't try to apologize for her co-workers behavior and agreed with her saying "there is a process and do you understand there are rules?!" I turned around and decided I wasn't going to waste my time nor give my business to a company that conducts business so poorly. 👎🏽

I get paid cash for my job by a wealthy family to provide care. So what, it is still no way to conduct business with a potential customer. I would think these people would care about the company they represent and especially to potential customers. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN 👎🏽.

Immediately after that I hopped online (Craigslist) I found a place who happily invited me to apply online, I provided them with 3 months bank statements along with required information and credit check and submitted everything and after an hour and a half, I was approved! My new home includes a w/d in unit and 1 bedroom with 1 covered parking (basically what I was looking for with WPG) and I even will be paying more (rent) for my apartment and located in Mountain View, close by Mariposa Ave. I'm more than happy to give my money to a business who RESPECTS their customers.

There are plenty of other companies who will want your business, just not Western Property Group.

WPM has been managing the rental of a property I own in Los Altos for the past two years. The property has now been sold so I no longer need their services.
Lisa was the manager assigned to me and I found her to be very pleasant and easy to work with
During the two years I had very little interaction with WPG, they simply took care of everything and rarely bothered me. When I asked, they responded well to my requests and at the end of the contract managed to get a rear fence replaced in record time.
The property was sold before the end of my contract with them, so charges could have been continued but they simply let the contract terminate at the time of the sale
All in all a very satisfactory performance

Can't believe that anyone would give this company a good rating.

Should get 0.0 stars. Laziest, most incompetent property management company. They exist to take the property owners monthly fee. They allow properties that they manage become shambles and charge the renters for repairs at the end of the rental term. They will also leave property owners in the dark and throw them under the bus. Thank God they were fired by our property owners. I'm amazed that they still operate their business and have avoided multiple lawsuits

In regard to your statement “We have handled every maintenance complaint with you professionally.”
All anyone needs to do is check out your company’s yelp review which rates WP at a 1.5 average (keep in mind reviewers are required to at least provide a 1 to even be allowed to write a review). I recommend that you also check it out. Many of the yelp reviews state how unprofessional you and your staff are with handling rental properties. I don’t know how WP managed to get a 4.2 average on this forum unless a lot of your family and friends wrote the reviews

I have been renting an apartment through Western Property Group for almost 9 years. They have been a great property management company to deal with, and always respond fast to any repairs or service needs. The staff are polite and have always been able to answer my questions. They are there when you need them, but not bothering you with unnecessary things. Rent is reasonable for this area, and the properties are kept in good condition through the on staff maintenance team. I am happy to recommend them.

My family and I have been renting for about 13 years. We love the family feel and beauty of the complex. Our property manager Ginette is great and always tries to resolve any issues we have ASAP. She always shows genuine concern and always goes the extra mile to make sure the tenants are happy. Any repairs or maintenance we need is always taken care of in a timely and professional manner.
From our personal experience, we would recommend Western Property because we have loved living one one of their properties without any issues.

Past Customer Recommendation : Stay Away!

Just moved out of a property and I would like to WARN anyone who wants to lease /rent/buy with them.

Totally agreeing to earlier comments. The whole staff is a bunch of unprofessional and incompetent realtors. Lisa is a train wreck who is not just bad at her work but arrogant with customers.
