Counter clerks are not cooperative nor helpful and are rude. Lead clerk has removed all yellow hold mail application forms from the lobby and insists that customers must apply online (which other post office personnel state is against regulations).

I saw the bad reviews before coming here but didn’t think it could be so terrible- it is. I really hate to say it but this woman behind the counter that everyone is mentioning, Toni, should be fired immediately. She was the epitome of a government worker, incredibly rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Truly a grumpy old hag. In any kind of normal job she no doubt would have been fired long ago.
Save yourself the stop take your things to Fairfax or Ross.

They threw away 6 of my monthly mailers rather than put in the mailbox of the people I dad paid to have them delivered to. Found 75 in a recycling bin across the street from my residence. Ruined my new business marketing project entirely. Refuse to take responsibility. Offered me one mailer worth of stamps - this cost me about $6000.

Inefficient, rude people at San Anselmo PO. Carriers leave mail box open in winter and mail gets soaked. Incompetent PO should be closed!!

The woman mentioned repeatedly has a name, and it's Toni Surbi. She is truly the definition of "postal", personified. Hate to say it about any living creature, but she should be fired. Compare this post office to the one up the street in Fairfax, and you might conclude that this location should simply be shuttered, since no-one seems to want to be there. Supervisor Pham is a great human being, and should be moved to a better location.

Only way to get to here was give a star buy not even 1 star is right for this post offices service.
Another visit seems I have to run around alot to get packages to me. The issue today was the postage paper with my address and such on it. Turns out some one pit my apartment #right next to the zip code so it was about to be sent ba k to the seller. How many postL people looked at that and could not figure out that that was what happen. I sure noticed bit it was only caught because I went to the post office right away and befor they shipped it back. People are not paying attention to what they are doing. Course dont help that I have not had the Sam postman for 2 days on a row. Many times packages get delivered to the wrong place do to lack of details like checking your work. There are no 6 number zip codes u less there isca - which directs futher. Easy to see especially if your delivering my mail with my name and apt #s on other mail your delivering. It's your job people pay attention. Details are important

Worst experience at a post office. I love the town of San Anselmo and the neighborhood feel, but it does not translate to the post office. The woman was rude, unhelpful, and condescending. Bad attitude all around. It's worth driving to the next town to mail your package.

Worst post office ever. If I were the United States Post Master General I would gut this place, fire everyone in it and start over by hiring people who wanted to help their customers, provide great service, treat people with respect, and …here’s a thought…deliver their mail! Demanding I know. And obviously too much to ask of this Post Office.
