If you are looking for an organization to help your small business this one is not it. Their interest rates are very high and God forbid your business closes. They won’t work with you on a payment agreement when you have been paying on time and want to work things around. You have to be 30 days late and let them screw your credit for them to agree to a change in payments regardless of you being responsible and only wanting a temporary change in your payment plan. We closed our business and our payments are up to date but requested a modification of the small balance so we could get a small relief and they told us that we had to be late so they could screw my credit report for 100 points for us to be able to get the help. They are NOT for the small business. Run! Don’t do business here! There are others out there that will work with you like People Fund.

Attorney General Please please Investigate!! Better Business Bureau please investigate the practices. Look for patterns of discrimination or abuse towards customers.

Terrible Company treats customers less than human and not with dignity. Veterans and Disable should not do business. USAA should not do business with this company. The employees team up and mess with certain customers, block access to their accounts and force additional late payments. Even when you do the to treat them with respect and dignity. The owner and Supervisor must know what is going on in their company. They treat you nice getting a loan but horrible after.

You are their stress punching bag. All for less than one 30 day late payment. It doesn’t make sense but that is my experience with them.

May not be the case but starting to wonder if this is prejudice disguised. They are predominately Hispanic worker, and I am not. They have my picture on file. I hope this is not the case.

Avoid this company and seek other options!

DO NOT,,,, I REPEAT,,,, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND TAKE POINTS OFF YOUR CREDIT SCORE,,, I HAVE A PERFECT CREDIT SCORE ACROSS ALL THREE BOARDS,,, STILL WAS DENIED,,,,, I DONT OWE NOTHING AND I HAVE OVER 50,000 IN CREDIT. IF YOU ASK ME ITS A SCAM TO RUN PEOPLES CREDIT AND NOT EVEN GIVE A REASON TO BE DENIED. TRY GETTING A PERSONAL LOAN WITH YOUR BANK FIRST.

Hello,
I do not recommend applying or obtaining a loan from Lift Fund. I will give my reasons as follows.
I took out a substantial loan from Lift Fund in December 2022. I made my payments as agreed. As part of their loan agreement the applicant is required to obtain credit life and credit disability insurance through SWBC. They will not approve the loan without it. I paid the insurance in advance for the 5 year term of the loan which is ludicrous.
I never seen that requirement before in a loan. Normally the insurance would be paid monthly not for the entire 60 month term of the loan.
The agreement was that Lift Fund would reimburse any unused portion of the credit life insurance policy.
I paid off my loan in full early after one year.
I was told I would be receiving the insurance reimbursement in about 2-3 weeks. I made countless calls and emails only to get false information from Lift Fund about the insurance reimbursement. One line was your check is in the mail and you can expect to receive it on 4/15/24. I still have not received my reimbursement check.
My advice is stay away from this SBA loan company called Lift Fund. They were recommended by the Small Business Administration.

As with many other reviews, a waste of time. It's been weeks since we applied and for a simple business loan they keep asking for this document and that document, and claiming this doesn't match and that doesn't match. My opinion, they are collecting data, not much interest in giving out a loan. We are working with another lender who has their stuff together. Also as a veteran, I think they purposely yank you around so they don't have to give the advertised interest rate. We have excellent credit and so does my business, zero reason for all of this.

Total bait and switch. Advertise low interest loans that end up with so many restrictions, then they redirect to high interest product. Avoid at all cost

I have waited over three months just to hear that I wouldn’t be supported with a loan. I had to call and to find out what the status was, for my loan, only to be ignored. All I did was waste a bunch of time, putting my documents together, only for them to not take seriously the situation that I was in. Fortunately, I am running my business without a loan, and looking for another solution at a Bank that is more promising. I do not recommend getting a loan from these people. They will waste your time.
