BNF is five stars all the way. Erin communicates, quick to respond and takes good care of others properties. She is professional and we love dealing with Erin. As an owner of a plumbing company we deal with many Mngt companies so I have a lot to compare to and Erin sits high on my list.

When I switched to BNF Property Management, my world changed. Erin understood what needed to be done. I thoroughly trust her with managing my condo. She communicates with me and my tenant regularly and is always available when I have a question.

I am responding directly to the 1 Star review by Patrick Van De Wille. This is an unfair and inaccurate representation of what transpired. Erin was the property manager for a very brief time prior to our moving out. We had been at that property for 4+ years and were excellent tenants. We made a direct request to the owner (Mr Van De Ville) while the previous property manager was overseeing the property and prior to leaving. Our rent had been raised very significantly year after year during our time there. Our request was that due to a change in our businesses, to please refrain from another significant increase just for one year, but once again we were presented with another increase of approximately 10%. Erin had no knowledge of our communication with the owner and simply presented us with the new lease and increase as directed by Mr. Van de Wille. It was his lack of care, understanding and high increase that caused us to leave a home we truly loved, not Erin or anything she did. Quite to the contrary, our experience of Erin was warm, professional, attentive, responsive and full of care for us and her role. She was quite honestly a breathe of fresh air from the previous property manager Mr. Van de Wille had hired. We would happily rent a property the Erin and BNF property management were overseeing.

If I could give no stars, I would. Erin took over management of our home with a four-year tenant. She completely misappreciated the market, screwed up negotiations with the existing tenant as a result, they left, she marketed the home with pitiful photography, REFUSED AN OFFER that was higher than the previous tenants were paying - without informing us!! - and generally left us with an empty home stagnating on the rental market. When we finally let her go, she made it look like we'd been the difficult ones, when all we ever did was approve any work she requested and encourage her to list for less than she was suggesting so the house would move more quickly. Meeting her has cost us tens of thousands of dollars of lost revenue. A complete disaster.

Erin has been handling our rental properties for just over a year now. I seriously can not say enough great things about Erin! She’s been a life saver.
Firstly, she communicates the perfect amount and will tailor the detail to the amount you request of her. Erin is a perfect balance of keeping me appraised of the situation w/o going over board. Examples here were dealing with a pretty substantial leak in one of my bathrooms that needed plumbing and drywall repair to minor issues like pest control and electrician support.
Secondly, she has a really great network of folks she knows and trusts to work on a variety of needs – general contractor, plumbing, painting, pest control, window cleaning, house cleaning, to name a few. She's quick and well connected to get things fixed – quickly & correctly.
Finally, Erin has a great head on her shoulders and provides great advice when you are trying to price your rental, handle issues that come up with the property and/or the tenant, and evaluating feedback/proposals from general contractors on scope and pricing of work.

As a property owner that lives out of state, it's so important to me to have a property manager I can trust.  Not only does BNF Property Management care for my place as if it were their own, but they took the time to select and vet just the right tenant.  I'm now going on two years with a wonderful tenant and it's been a great experience.  Big thank you and a hug!
