Stay away--one of their advisors, Scott Brooks, falsely claimed to be a fiduciary before accepting money and locking it up in highly illiquid and underperforming investments, then refused to help close the position. He also executed many small trades to churn the portfolio and maximize his own commissions at the cost of fees for the client.

Fees are literally ~100x more than what reputable brokerages like Vanguard charge for low-cost index funds for better return.

Scott Brooks, CIO, is the firm’s founder along with his attorney sister, Julie Mains, of Mains Law Office, specializing in Business Law and Estate Planning. Scott Brooks is very smart and insightful about money issues, a pleasure to work with, helpful, responsive, a good listener, very ethical in all his dealings, often intuitive about the market, reassuring when need be, a happy surfer, lovely human being and loving family man. And…he enjoys making his clients money, while also keeping client fees reasonable.
