PPA renter for five years. Don and Kathy were always professional and respectful of our time, if any service was needed we were notified with plenty time in advance.

PPA Renters from 2018-2020. At first Don and Kathy were kind, considerate and professional landlords. As soon as Covid hit in 2020, my husband was laid off from his job in SF and we were forced to move out of the home. That’s when Don completely changed his attitude and how he spoke to us and treated us. Don had no empathy or compassion during a worldwide pandemic and nickel and dimed my family of 6 upon move out. We lived in the property less than 2 years. We were charged for normal wear and tear and carpet replacement (the carpet was damaged by previous tenants and they covered it up with a quick shampoo before we moved in). Dozens of carpet stains reappeared in the days after we moved in and we sent them photos. They charged us to basically do a mini refresh/remodel on that home. My only hope in writing this is that they have reflected on how they treated their tenants during the pandemic. We are a hard working family and we do not recommend renting from PPA property management.

Editing to add: We previously owned a home and this was our first rental in many years. Owners hire management companies like PPA because you fight for them and protect their asset. It's your job to not give deposit money back to tenants because the bottom line is always profit. Your fees reflect that. This review is honest and has no malicious intent. Renters have options too and they should be informed before doing business with you.

Don with PPA property management has been managing our property since 2011 and has been an excellent property manager!!! We hired Don not only because he was recommended by one of our friends who had interviewed a dozen, but also he stood out as the most responsive, knowledgeable and straightforward.

After initial meeting and understanding our needs, Don was able to find us the ideal tenants promptly, and he has been attentive and proactive in addressing all the rental matters since then. He is always on top of everything: from property maintenance to rental market monitor to tenant management. He responds to the requests from both tenants and owner in a timely fashion. He suggests preventive maintenance to avoid potential damage to the property, and he always checks with us before spending money.

We have encountered couple difficult situations with HOA, Don was able to handle and resolve the problems in a very professional, practical and effective way.

We are very grateful to have Don manage our property. He gives us peace of mind. We truly believe Don is the best partner for your rental property management.

I have live on a PPA managed property for over a year now, and it has been a great experience. The property manager, Don, is always ready and willing to help. I have moved around a lot over the past few years, and have had many different experiences with property owners/managers. Dealing with PPA has definitely been on of the best.
When I was searching for a place, it was a bit overwhelming as I am a transplant to the west coast. Once I found one of Don’s properties, he took the time to show me a couple of options to make sure I found the one that fit. He also responds to all of my maintenance issues in a timely manner.
In my opinion, anyone looking for housing in their coverage area will be pleased with their service and professionalism.
