I graduated from ASU and even worked there during my last year. Amazing college and professors/staff. Gorgeous campus.

Recently, we started learning disc golf and tried out the small course (9 holes). It is great for beginners! The grounds are well kept, and there are a few challenges along the way. Not crazy about crossing the road, but at least it’s not always super busy. When we reached 9, we just played in reverse to get 18.

Classically historic campus. 100+ year old buildings some recently renovated with others planned for renovation. The state of Alabama is blessed with older historic colleges and this one is exception.

Played basketball there under Harold Murrell ( On It ) (RIP)and A.D.Oba Belcher (RIP) and had a pretty wild College experience. Dr. Fuller was an excellent Professor ( RIP) and had an ex Thunderbird pilot as a Psych Professor call name Griff (RIP) . Appreciate the free ride and foundation for my career. Go Bears .

My wife goes to this school, she is constantly harassed by by the computer monitors who watch you test. The make her stand up, spin in circles, take off her hoody or blankets. Change rooms because it was “too comfortable” she is a nervous reck every time.
She gets in trouble everyone I, the kids or even when the dog walks by or makes noise.
The people watching the students obviously hate their job and take it out on the students.

Their systems never work, open book tests are never open book because they can’t get their own system to allow their own book to be opened while testing. That’s been going on for months and affects all students in the class.

She even got kicked out of a test once and ultimately failed it because I came home from work one day and walked in on her taking her test.

Wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone!

A cheaper/affordable university. There really is no student life here as far as I am aware (no bands, no major sports other than basketball). Therefore, it is very hard to find/make new friends at Athens. It's pretty easy to find your way around due to it being an extremely small college campus. They have a few professors who are actually great. The rest are meh.
