Hello everyone,

The concern of this review is to inform you that we have resided at The Indian Hill Apartments in Claremont, CA, for years and have been ideal tenants. We were not loud or a nuisance in the shared space that makes up this apartment complex. We were good, friendly neighbors in this quiet vibe of a complex, we paid our rent on time and rarely bothered for repairs, we also rarely, if ever, had any interaction with anyone concerning our apartment outside of the on-site manager who lived at the complex as well. Unfortunately, what compels me to write this review is that upon vacating the apartment this past July 2024, we were served a bill of $155 for a single plastic light switch that had been broken off after leaving the apartment spotless. We asked why we were being billed for a plastic light switch that, as we believed, fell under common everyday use/ normal wear and tear. We contacted the management and then got the runaround, ignored, and hung up on by this management company here, which I had no idea existed cause of how nonbothersome we had been as tenants. These people are unprofessional and remarkably rude. I have no idea why they are so angry and bad at their jobs, but improvement is needed, my lord. I write this not to bash them but to just ask why. Is this a common thing in rental management companies, or did I just grab the short straw? I made peace with the loss on the light fixture off of the deposit, but damn, these people were too much not to let it be known on the internet. Googel Reviews please do what you do best and help me destroy this evil in the world that is Select Home Investments!
