I had been living in Avalon Residency since June 2021 ( about 2.4 years). It's a friendly residence to live for family. The apartments are spacious & worth the price compared to others nearby.

However, they did not returned my security deposit where they charged for cleaning. I never received any response from their team 👎

The leasing office staffs were always helpful & promptly answers any concerns about the tenets. My move-in was smooth.
Maintenance services sometimes take a few days to address but the staff are good & ensure the issue is taken care of.

They have amenities like Gym, swimming pool & resident lounge in clubhouse which are maintained so well.
Location is perfect - near to the Airport, shopping center, restaurants, gas station etc.

I lived in Avalon San Bruno for 2 years and I loved it. Office and maintenance staff were always attentive and helpful. The location is great (mall, target, and gym nearby) and it has very good access to the highway. I always felt safe around the apartment premises.

I wanted to give special thanks to Cecilia and Jose. They were always very helpful and took care of things immediately. They made my stay at Avalon feel like home. I will miss this place!

Beautiful community and dynamic residents. I love the gym, swiming pool and hot tub. So far the maintenance service is very responsive. Joel did everything he could to fix my fridge! Five stars!

Disappointing Experience at Avalon

We moved into our apartment on September 21st and unfortunately, our experience has been far from satisfactory. Due to the short notice before our move-in date, we didn’t get a chance to view the apartment beforehand, but we trusted the Avalon brand. That seems to have been a mistake.

Upon entering the apartment, we immediately noticed a dislocated oven door, which was reported to the leasing office on the very same day. They assured us the issue would be fixed within 24 hours. It’s been 12 days, and not only has the issue not been resolved, but no one has even come by to inspect it. We've visited the leasing office twice and were given two different "confirmed" dates for repairs, but still, nothing.

To make matters worse, on move-in day, we were issued two parking tickets, even though we parked in the designated loading zone for both our truck and car. The office promised to reimburse us, but that still hasn’t happened either.

Communication has been extremely poor, with no responses to our emails. I think the leasing office and maintenance team is heavily understaffed.

Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected better from Avalon.
