Unautorized withdrawal! If I could give a zero I would. This company just took over $600 from my checking account! I had a term life insurance policy since my kids were small to end this year. It was about $30 per month. I did not and will not renew, I don't need it. I am so angry that they withdrew money from my account without permission.

Doing some research I found:
"Under the insurance laws of all states in this country, an insurance carrier cannot automatically renew a customer's insurance policy at an increased rate without written authority to do so by the client dated and signed. Additionally, unless the client gave written authority to allow the withdrawal of money from his or her bank account to the insurance carrier the carrier cannot do so unilaterally."

I have contacted the company. If the unauthorized withdrawal of over $600 is not quickly corrected I will be taking legal action.

When it comes time to pay out, prepare to wait months and get the run around. Sent information to them on multiple occasions, they claim they never received it. Twice we were told they had all they needed and the check was in the mail. That was a lie. I hope I never have to deal with this company again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

If I could give them a zero I would. Their automated system is HORRIBLE, their chat system non functioning. I got to a live person who was equally not helpful. We've been a customer for over a decade. I'll be switching. Pay someone to answer your phone if you can't pay for a decent phone system.

Buyer Beware! What a shock when my automatic deduction tripled! I now recall getting a letter five months ago informing me that due to birthday, rates would increase. No additional notices closer to the rate increase. I learn from my mistakes and will cancel.

If I could give WCL a zero I would. 2 hours on hold and I gave up. Every 24 seconds a cheerful message tells me how important my call is.
I heard that message 360 times before I gave up. Shame on them.

I’ve had a whole life insurance policy since 1980. Very easy to get a hold of a representative when I called. Documents simple and straight forward to fill out. Able to scan and email documents back to the insurance company, only downfall was that it takes 7-10 days for the reply documents to be mailed back. I am also able to login to my online account.
