(survey research) It's an easy job. They are not perfect, but compaired to other call center type jobs it's extremely low stress. It's not exactly stable employment all the time, but if you grab the over time when it's offered you can off set the down time and make it work for you. For the most part, I like working there.

Started out as a first class call center under AL Blankenship. Didn't take long after he transferred for it to become a "bring em in the front door and out the back door" run of the mill call center. Poor communication and employees are treated as very recyclable. If you can find a job shoveling manure instead of working at this place, do it.

You're expendable, cheap labor to them. The longer you last, the more they want you gone before they have to give you any benefits or God forbid a raise. They will look for any reason to fire you. It doesn't matter if you've asked them and got approved by one person, it's medical, or an emergency. They don't care about your health issues, what's happening, or how hard you work. One mistake and you're gone. Unless you like being trained only to be fired in training for something like not coming from break fast enough, fired a few days on the floor as you're learning because you're not "there yet" or did something you didn't know, or even fired when you feel like you've settled in, doing everything to help them, and love the job, then this company is not for you.
Edit: ICF WILL fire you if you come through a temp agency and not interviewed by ICF staff. Anyone near being hired on and given benefits have or will be removed for vague, unpredictable reasons. There is no hassle for them as the temp agency deals with it, no way to know why exactly someone was terminated. They will literally fire you for "quality" when you constantly go over quality, being told yours is at 100%. I guess you need 105%, so fair warning unless you don't mind walking on unspoken standards or reasons!

I have many years of experience working in call centers. I graduated High school and have a diploma to prove it. Trainer Arlheen Rodriguez Barrera told me I didn't read on a high enough level for them to pass but asked me to reread the script. She ended the call and didn't tell me I didn't pass or didn't get the job. No bye have a nice day and kicked me out the meeting cold turkey. Moments before we even started a girl said he computer was updating and she was on her phone. She said it was going to be almost finished and she too was fired even though we was all sitting for a while waiting on them to call us individually to just read the script.. That girl had plenty of time or could have at least been came back to if she said it was almost done. That was just rude if she had moments before it was going to be complete and she wasn't even chosen first to read and its 30 people in the group.

Was fired while having system issues that the company refused to answer/return calls about.
Reported as a voluntary quit so unemployment is under review.
Missed over 45 days waiting for equipment to arrive with NO PAY.
