These guys are really funny. I'll start off with the fact that I've had an account with them for years. I deposited a life insurance beneficiary check from John Hancock yes THAT John Hancock at the ATM. I received notification that it would be held which it is to be expected. The next day I get an email and they said the word risk about 4 times in the email and told me that it would not be available for two business days. Again which is fine but I really didn't appreciate the fact that they said risk 4 times as to insinuate I was trying to do something. Then the payoff is I get another email today and to quote "based on confidential information one of the checks may not be paid" and they are now extending the hold for the full 7 days. I am clearly not happy with the fact that the first email said risk about 4 times and now I'm getting a quote on quote based on "confidential information" well how about you tell me the confidential information hmmm. I'm not going to act a fool I'm keeping calm I'm going to do the two things that Banks hate the most 1) tell everyone I know about this experience and 2) and most important once my "risk deposit " clears I'm closing my account

Got a note to confirm my account details! Called them , two days in a row , they keep me on hold, my account frozen. Went to the bank they are not able to do anything ! Crazy ! SCARY !

Omg! This just happened to me tonight! I withdrew money and the money never came out of the machine but it was withdrawn from my account! This is ridiculous! Something had to be done about these atm’s at this branch. I opened up a claim investigation and now I have to wait 10 days to possibly get MY hard earned money back. Shame on you Capital ONE for not doing anything for your customers with all these reviews that have been posted.!!

They are so bad, that they don’t want to help you at all better to open an account in any other bank and there are a lot just across the street

The ATM just took money from me when I was depositing. Now there is no 24/7 customer service to call. It should be in there and they can find it in the morning, but this is scary. I'm going to leave this review here and if I receive prompt help in finding and returning my money, I will change it to a better review. I'll be updating it after I speak to them. **** Update - they took care of the problem with no fuss, the $ was updated in my account as soon as I spoke to someone at the soonest opportunity. Thanks Capital One, I have changed the review to a 4 star from a 1 star. Minus one star just for having it happen in the first place.****

The teller stole my money and now they have to do an internal investigation. The bank teller deposited my money to my Walmart card and never told me I couldn't pay the balance through the branch. She took the money and now the money is missing. I called Capital One customer service and they told me the branch has to make an investigation since they have the cameras and can account for any excess money. Now this branch is saying they can't do an investigation. Of course. If this was capital one looking for money they would sue you for the money. So now I have to go through small claims court.

Please don’t use these ATMS!!!!! These machines take your cash and then you have to wait 10 business day for them to complete an investigation. No one knows anything because another department deals with a these ATMs…when you call they put you on hold forever!!!!!!!This is ridiculous!!!! YOU HAVE TO WAIT 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A PROVISIONAL CREDIT ON YOU OWN MONEY!!!!
