Candice seriously saved my butt. Had an unexpected bill that I needed to pay off ASAP and after I got my bank account I decided to request a personal loan unfortunately I didn't think about asking for a loan prior to getting the account so it was denied. About an hour af
ter I left, she called and told me she was able to talk to her manager about my circumstances and was able to get my loan approved! She literally saved me thousands in payments I would have had to make if I didn't get one bill paid off @-@. So definitely, bank here. I know that places like Capital One wouldn't care and just shoot me down without a care because their system would've declined me. So thank you, Candace!!

I recently visited the Fort Meyer, VA Armed Forces Branch to conduct 2 service related actions! The bank tellers and manager provided excellent advice and service to my checking, saving and credit accounts! They are by far the best bank for the military Veterans that I have encountered!

Opening my savings and checking accounts was a smooth step by step process...the interactions with customer reps was very polite and easy to talk to. I got an e-mail notification from Sarah Weston with Loss Prevention only stating my money would be returned back to me and the accounts closed...no explanation and nothing noted in the system for customer representatives to help me with either. I called Weston back the same day and left a Voice-mail and received no call back. I called her back today 9/13/2024 and was met with the worst most unprofessional attitude and still no explanation or info of any kind...merely that "We've decided not to do business with you and you money has been returned and your accounts have been closed!" Adding that legally all she needs to tell me is they are choosing not to do business with me.

For a military / veteran associated financial institution to treat their customers (Army Veterans & Retired Law Enforcement Officer) or potential customers like that is absolutely ridiculous and highly unprofessional at least on the part of some disrespectful bad seeds.

Candace was extremely professional and personable as she solved my issues. Frankly, trying to work through the issues I was having by using the Armed Forces Bank online system was terrible. The chat system did not work, the customer service number did not have relevant options or a way to connect with a real person. I was fortunate to find a number to go directly to the Ft. Myer’s Branch and have Candace answer. She was great. My rating is for her and her branch. After 50 years being with Armed Forces Bank and its predecessor Fort Knox National Bank, this is the first time I would give the Bank itself a 0 star rating for today’s experience with its online system.
