As a current Board member of my community for several years, and after going through a few different property management companies, JCA is by far the best we've had. Are they perfect? No. However, I doubt you will find a better company in the area. Reviews of these companies will usually be on one extreme or another. But many times, I notice the low reviews are from one time experiences, usually negative, and that results in low scores. So why 5 stars? They are responsive to issues I track throughout the community and from residents. They have worked to track down deliquencies as possible. They are always up-to-date with financials and meetings. On larger projects, they have worked with the board to come up with the best options and solutions. So as someone that has dealt directly with several property management companies where others ranged from incompetence to completely illegal criminal activity, these guys are the best. Lastly, they are very reachable in person unlike every other company we've had in the past 10 years.

As a property owner, I’ve encountered repeated issues when attempting to make payments, and the customer service experience has been deeply frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, the representative I spoke with was consistently unprofessional—dishonest in their responses, dismissive, and quick to transfer my call to accounting without follow-through. I was left waiting with no resolution. Worse, I could hear laughter and giggling in the background, possibly mocking my accent or for reasons unclear to me, which felt disrespectful and humiliating. This behavior is unacceptable for a customer-facing role. I strongly recommend additional training to ensure staff are equipped to handle calls with professionalism, empathy, and competence. No one should feel ridiculed or ignored when trying to fulfill their obligations as a customer.

0 stars .Do not hire this management company, this company manages our cooperative and myself and my wife have made several complaints due to our cooperative being run into the ground. We were given a lease agreement instead of an occupancy agreement and certificate as our governing documents state. It took us over 3 years to get our proper documentation with no answer why this was done. Our manager was on the lease agreement stating that she could accept payment on the landlords behalf. No response to why this happened even still to this day. Nepotism, non responsive to emails, no accountability for the manager onsite who is directly related to more than one board member as well as shareholders. I was attacked in a board meeting for asking a member who was being voted out how could we help. No action has yet to be taken nor have we been contacted by management. My wife was attacked by a board member who is the managers niece. Ive asked to view the financials several times and was told openly in a meeting that no one could see all of the financials of the cooperative because personal information was in them. I was even hung up on by Jeffery. Totally unprofessional, if you are considering this company RUN!!! It is sad the amount of emails with no response from the management company. It would be proper to have a professional management company step in and do what they are hired for, help manage in a professional manner. We are living in a hostile living environment.

On behalf of my sister, anyone giving this company more than one star works for them. This company has the absolute most worst, most unprofessional, most clueless, negligent, and irresponsible Property Manager working under them and now I see why. My sister has been left in an apartment with a ceiling hanging for 4 weeks. She cannot use her tub and hasn't been able to use it for months. Before this incident, my sister was left in her apartment for nearly 2 months with a faucet that leaked a lot of water and it would not stop. The tub was chipped so badly that my sister tapped the front of the tub up bc the water damage was making the chipping worse. It was not until black mold was in the tub that latisha , lakrisha wright, or whatever her name is sent someone to take care of my sister's tub. My sister sent her 9 emails, she also sent emails to the board members at her complex and no one helped my sister. My sister also contacted DOB and they sent that Wright woman a Notice of Infraction for violating more than one of their codes. She still didn't move when she received the Infraction. Only when she saw that mold did she do anything. Going back to what's going on now, the Property Manager has lied and lied and lied. She's lied so many times, she can't get out of the disgusting sea of lies that she is now swimming in. The ceiling is hanging and not only has she not had it repaired, she didn't even send anyone to my sister's place to cover up the hole where the ceiling was cracked opened with paint lead and flying dust coming from it. The ceiling is in the kitchen, paint was falling and the ceiling is still hanging. Debris was falling on my sister's counter and inside of the stove and my sister had to cover it up. That Property Manager doesn't know what in the world she's doing. She also held my sister's rent check until the end of the month. My sister had to go to the office to see why she had not put her rent check through. She told my sister that legally she can hold checks for 6 months before deposit. Who does that and who tells their tenant that as their reason for not depositing their tenants rent check!!! She was mad bc my sister reported her incompetent behind and was going to either try to say that my sister didn't pay her rent at sll or try to claim that my sister paid her rent late. Her staff is no better when it comes to unprofessionalism. Her Leasing Manager spoke to my sister is a disrespectful way. My sister's kitchen wall is still hanging and my sister can't take a bath or use her shower. I had to see what type of company would hire this woman. Now, I get it after reading how the people that she works for are just as bad. This man Jeff knows what their Property Manager is doing. The NG board members should be looking out for tenants, they need to get rid of this management team and cut all ties with Jeffrey Charles and Associates. They should not have hired them in the first place. They need to get my sister's old Property Manager back. They have used two different companies with two different Property Managers who are a disgrace to the neighborhood. This entire operation is trash and treats their tenants like disposals for their trash. They fit every stereotype you can think of. Rachet at an all time high. They have ruined Naylor Gardens but Naylor Board is letting it all go down. My sister has lived there for over 20 years and this is how she is treated. JC, don't fake thank me for my review, don't write me no sorry excuse or apology, dont try to justify anything bc you can't. You or any of your fake reviewers bet not say anything to me.My sister kept saying how can this woman AND her team be *this* unprofessional, now we see how. My sis still trying to be nice and won't put her, naylor gardens or this company on blast but i will. Imma blast them on every site i can. Imma keep looking for sites to blast them. Only help my sis received is from the owner of her unit, she and her fam have been on it!!!! Big ups go the owners of my sis unit!!! We appreciate them!

Used JCA for real estate purchase, sale, and management and could not be more pleased with the results! The whole team is amazing and they know the rules and laws inside and out. Sarah Jackson, Taylor Ellis, and Romel Voellm are the best of the best and I would recommend them and JCA to anyone who needs real estate and management needs
