We have lived at The Reserve at Stone Port for over a year and have throughly enjoyed the community. The amenities are wonderful. The leasing staff, the office staff and the maintenance crew, all are exceptional. We have never had an issue that was not addressed immediately. We would recommend choosing thus community as your home!

I have lived at the Reserve at Stone Spring, since moving to VA, in 2015, after losing my husband. (I have a son and family who invited me to come to this area to be closer to them.) I had looked at several apartment complexes, while visiting, but none really appealed to either of us. So, back up to IN (where I was living at that time) to complete the selling of my home. It was then that I was thumbing through an apartment booklet that listed The Reserve, one we'd not noticed while visiting. So, I asked my DIL to come and check it out. And she did, saying if I ever moved here, I'd never want to leave. I wasn't quite ready, yet. but, got more emails from other apartment complexes, inviting me to move in. So, I asked my son to check out one and it did not appeal to him either, So, he came here, and likewise said, "Mom, if you moved to the Reserve, you'd never want to leave." Once my house sold, I did make that move, but while still in Indiana. Sight-unseen, I actually signed my lease, after checking out the website and my son's many photos he'd even taken. I was sold! When it was time to move, I rented a U-Haul, they flew up and we all drove down, with my car attached to the back. I stayed one night with them and moved in the very next day. And, I've never regretted it.

I have loved it here ever since that move. I have never felt so "at home" as I have since moving to the Reserve. All of the office staff have been loving, friendly and helpful in every way. I feel like family when I walk into their offices and run into any of them. We have several parties, in the Clubhouse, each month and they host them, like they're spending time with their family. And, the maintenance crew is amazing. We never have to wait long for a repair after turning in a work order. Even if we have a question, they are always ready to stop and help. And, they always wave as they drive by. That means a lot to me. (My late husband was a maintenance man at a similar place so I have a soft spot in my heart for them.)

Moving here has been incredible. I have NO complaints. I love meeting and chatting with my neighbors - most have been so friendly. And, the grounds are kept up nicely and decorated for Christmas, etc. I can't say enough about the Reserve at Stone Spring. To me, THIS IS HOME!

The apartment itself is nice and I don’t have too many issues. My main issue is the constant apartment checks and fire alarms that go off. I understand that there are routine checks and that the retail department is being built. But as someone who works from home and has dogs the constant in-unit checks get frustrating. I have to shut my work stuff off and the apartment management expects my giant dogs to be kenneled for 3 days straight waiting for them to come inspect something in my apartment. Then the constant fire alarms.. I wish we were notified when they do testing so we know that we don’t have to leave the apartment. I have to constantly shut down my work stuff and lose pay to evacuate just to be told that we didn’t need too. Why weren’t we informed by email at least then?

The Reserve at Stone Port has been every thing we had hoped for and more. An extremely proactive staff that goes beyond what one would expect to ensure your satisfaction. As for the residence itself, if you're looking for luxury, look no further. Speaking from experience, having resided at another nearby property that used the term luxury, nothing in Rockingham County will come close to the Reserve at Stone Port.

I absolutely love living here! Beautiful apartment, very friendly staff, great maintainance, really nice place!
I only have one complaint, which is that I have emailed the Cathcart Group directly twice about a month ago and not gotten a response.

Parker Associates has provided architectural services for the Cathcart Group for approximately eight years. We have completed two multi-family housing projects together and are currently working on several more. We have found the Cathcart development staff and construction staff to be knowledgeable and professional. We highly recommend the Cathcart Group for those looking to develop housing type projects.
