Parked at the parking lot for the pond. Walked the old gravel road that takes you down to the Rappahannock River. Passed by a few fields with with food for the local deer population and lots of wildflowers. I had my Autistic child in his wagon with me. Easy trail to walk and pull him behind me. Ended up being 2 mile walk. Trails are useable by both humans and horses, no motorized vehicles allowed on the trails. There is a nice pond to fish in. Generally, it's not usually crowded here.

Great place, has paths, lake, pond, hunting, fishing, parking, quiet. Lots of parking/entry points around Summerduck area. Get a permit online so you dont get a ticket.

Lots of land to explore (easily walked 9 miles). Saw turkey and deer sign, and plenty of squirrels in the early am and just before sunset. The fields are also good for rabbits. Not a lot of other hunters out, so you feel like you have the place to yourself.

One of my favorite places to ride. There are probably 12+ miles of trails for horses - and a lot of different terrain. After storms there can be trees down, but other than that - it's a gem for horse people!

Superb hunting opportunities. Although it's a downer to not be able to hunt Sundays, the good news is that you don't need to because there are so many hunting opportunities on Saturdays. This WMA is rich with wildlife. Every time I go out there, I see lots of mature deer. As a testament to how great the hunting is, just look at all the hunters leaving with deer. Excellent hunting for all game.
