Deceptive Agents and Fraudulent Behavior

I was clearly told by Greg Bartleski that my auto insurance for two vehicles would be $270 every months, and that the price was locked in. That promise was a lie.

When my second payment jumped to $326, I contacted him immediately. He blamed State Farm and claimed that this would only happen for one month. He reassured me that my future payments would go down to $290.

That never happened. Instead, I received a bill for $378.89.

When I tried to reach him again, a woman named Michelle answered and told me he no longer works with them. I told her he had just emailed me the day before — and she lied. When I mentioned I would report this to the Virginia Bureau of Insurance, she quickly transferred me to someone pretending to be him.

But I had spoken with him before and recognized his voice — they were impersonating the agent.

This company uses lies, impersonation, and manipulation to scam people. I feel completely deceived. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company and its agents. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Virginia Bureau of Insurance.

The only reason I give State Farm 5 stars from disappointment that they raised the rate quoted from 5 days earlier. It did not go up much though and was still a very reasonable amount. First of all I regret having state farm. They didn't just help me , they actually screwed me big time. If I can leave zero stars I would. And in the other hand trying to reach my agent Greg bartlesky with no response from Dec 21st and today is the 3rd of January. I don't recommend them to anyone. Beware, back in July I insured 2 vehicle with them requesting towing and rental on my 2 New cars , my cars both were totaled and no rental or towing on my policy , that was a shock to me because I ended paying for towing and rental, scam company will never ever get them in future
