AMV have been managing my condo building's property for over a decade, and they've always been horrible. Any time I call I get a voicemail or the rep is away from their desk. Takes weeks to months to get a response or anything done. I'm honestly not sure why the HOA hasn't fired them yet. Unresponsive and unprofessional management. All they do is collect money and ignore customers.

This company told everyone @ our HOA to be quite about fire hazards.

The next day the Fire Marshal was alerted. A few months later we dumped A.M.V..

Our HOA board of Directors is currently in place but we will be terminating the President next.

(Don't hire A.M.V. as that company avoids State Safety Regulations & Laws).

If there was a way to give negative review stars A.M.V. would get negative 5 stars.

This company avoided our fire hazards like expired fire extinguishers. I want to make sure those who see this review, it's also your job to notify your fire Marshal if any property manament company avoids fire safety. You do not need to be on any HOA board to notify the Fire Marshal. It is your job as a association owner.

Side Note: If your elevator has not been inspected you are responsible to report it to your county or local building inspector. If the inspection sticker has passed the expired date, it is not inspected. Notify your county or town inspector.

Failure to keep a building safe is a breach of contract. Our building is now safe after we removed A.M.V. after A.M.V. for avoiding our fire hazards.

This is a horrible company & this is a authentic review of a bad company that we had to call the Fire Marshal on in Shenandoah County.

Our building is now safe after we called the Fire Marshal and filed a complaint against A.M.V. & HOA. We had seven fire violations which are now fixed. We only got it fixed when we had built up a good relationship with our County Fire Marshal.

Avoid this dangerous company. A company who avoids Fire Regulations shouldn't ever be allowed to manage anything but that's just my opinion.

This company did not keep us safe. We are safe after not renewing A.M.V..

I hope you find a safer manament company. Be safe & read all reviews.

I think this is my first google review ever, but I’m so frustrated that I couldn’t help but post.

In complete transparency, AMV has provided nothing but negative customer service in my experience. Uncommunicative, unprofessional, and downright rude. I hope that improves for future clientele, though judging from previous comments - it appears they show utter lack of concern to address these issues. Extremely disrespectful to honest, loyal customers.

Since they have taken over nothing has been done to make our plaza look presentable. I have reached out multiple times with zero response and told that Ernie who is in charge of our plaza is busy and I have to speak to someone below him. Shocker no response or call back from them also. I would not reccomend them to anyone. We have been waiting to have the plaza cut, trees trimmed back, and mulch put down for months and still nothing. We have a ufc fighter coming to our store and we are embarrassed by how the outside looks. Hopefully they start to act like they care.

Everyone should post their reviews. The truth of the mater is that a company that is not able to get more than 1.5 stars (current) is poorly run and should not operate. Every time me and my wife need to communicate with them it is a painful and frustrating experience. I truly hope that all of you have the options to avoid this company. Their employees are useless pieces of existence that refuse to provide anywhere near acceptable service and response.

I wish i could give them rating below 1. Most unprofessional, horrible team. They never get anything on timely manner. They always have an excuse. For god sake if you are planning to buy a property and its HOA is managed by these people dont buy or rent a property. Its a night mare to work with these bunch of thugs. You are going to have sleepless night or elevate your blood pressure.

Multiple attempts to communicate, zero response; at best a week later. Once out HOA assumes control (the builder currently runs the HOA), I will advocate to end our contract with American Management, and retain a more professional, responsive management company. When the mgmt company did respond stating they were very busy, that speaks to their unprofessional business practice.

We used to be an American management customer.. I would rate them a 1 out of 10.. our entire board was much happier with our new provider when viewed in comparison...
AM Virginia had good price per unit.. But my personal opinion as you get what you pay for... And the reserve study they did had to be redone by our new company.
