I have no issues with this property management whatsoever. The staff was very polite; maintenance was always efficient, and I never had any pest problems or issues with my neighbors or the complex. I had to move after 3 years but I will be back with them.

Hands down the worst property management company I’ve ever dealt with, but then again — most of the properties they manage are slums so that should’ve been the first indicator of what type of company they are.

Whether you’re a property owner, or a potential tenant, I’d stay away. They have a lot of bad reviews for a reason.

Addendum:
I initially was trying to keep the review general but since the response from the management was specific — let’s get specific.

My unit had issues from the day I signed the lease and were never addressed over the 3 years I lived there, despite me telling management immediately. The parking lot flooded frequently and it would take management weeks to take care of it. Homeless people often slept in the laundry room and I even had one on my doorstep. The parking lot situation was chaotic, I’d often come home to someone being in my designated spot. There was also the time someone on their administration team incorrectly charged me for rent and I had to dispute months of late fees. This list could truly go on. I’m just glad to be out.

Recently moved out of a rental property that was under Powell Property Management. I was there for 2 years and never really had an issue with the PPM team. Any time I did have something come up they were very quick to at least respond to messages and emails very kindly. Which I have not had with other property management companies. They are quick, clean with their properties and understanding. I would recommend renting with them and I would again as well.

We love living here. Powell fosters a neighborly feeling, keeping everything kept up and working, and having outdoor places for neighbors to meet. We have the privacy of our own "home" while having wonderful connections every time we walk out our door. It says a lot when you look forward to seeing your neighbors. On a very personal note, when a family emergency came up we were able to have rent payments automatically made from our bank and receive texts for any updates, while there were days we didn't open email. We felt very taken care of so we could be about the care of our family. For so many reasons, we are so happy to live here.

Shannon is very knowledgeable, personable and goal oriented. The maintenance team was fast and provided great communication. Unfortunately, we have had too many dropped balls, unanswered emails, and unprocessed paperwork causing things to fall through the cracks - much more than we anticipated. After prodding, they have remedied our concerns. We continue to use their services.
