This place has some good and bad qualities to it. Some of the staff are great and nice, but they have a couple that just don't care about the word service or being friendly. They do have live bait and a good selection which is a solid plus. Take politics out of it staff should wear masks during this time.

IT'S ALL ABOUT COOL AND WELCOMING SERVICE, THERE OPEN AT 5:00 IN MORNING SO THAT YOU CAN STOPBYE FOR COFFEE & DONUTS, THEY HAVE LIVE BATE WAX WORMS, CANADIAN WORMS AND LOT'S OF OTHER FISHING EQUIPMENT FOR YOU, ICE COFFE VANILLA AND MOCHA A BIG WALKING BEER CAVE AND LIKOR AND TABACO PRODUCT.... Terrible experience! Their gas pumps are ancient and not maintained. I'm currently covered in gas because the pump lock mechanism on pump 7 locked itself and would not retract. I tried to unlock the handle from full throttle pumping and it would not do so. Upon trying to unlock it I got drenched in gasoline.
Went inside to tell the employee about the pump, just got a handful of apathy and disconcern. Also there's no towels in the restroom, not even the option so washing myself off was not in the scope of things.
I'm literally covered in gas right now, there goes my Sunday.

Awesome employees and good gas prices. I've been going to this citgo since I was a kid. I refuse to go to the BP. Citgo is like the white Sox and the BP are the Cubs. All the rich Chicago people with their summer houses go there. Lol plus there this one person who's working there and I think she might be a manager. Dark hair lady. She's always so rude. It's just bad vibes from just that one person. I never get bad vibes at citgo. You walk in and they are always happy to see their customers and remembers our names. It's a nice gas station.

Bought a posh vape here and on opening it, it didn't hit at all. Tried to exchange it within 10 minutes of buying it and not only would they not exchange it, but wouldn't give me my money back either. The cashier pointed to one of the boxes that literally had "no returns" sloppily scribbled onto it with permanent marker. So the owner chooses to sell a product he knows comes in defective and gets to take in the money from it still while ripping his customers off.

Quick stop for gas but don’t go inside the old blonde lady behind the counter needs to check her attitude!! If you can’t be pleasant and stop acting like it’s a burden to wait on customers maybe you need to quit!
