About five months ago, Spectrum Communications, through TAK Communications, buried some internet lines on my property. During that process, they hit and broke my sewer line. Since then, I’ve been dealing with a property damage claim through TAK’s insurance provider, QBE.

QBE has been handling my claim for about two and a half months now, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. My assigned agent, Alexander Earl, has been nearly impossible to reach. He has never once answered his phone, despite me calling almost daily for over 20 business days. When I email for updates, it takes him over a week to respond, and when he does, there’s no real update at all.

I finally spoke to him for the first time today, and he assured me they were moving "as fast as they can" but were waiting on information from the city of Apple Valley. He even claimed he had just spoken to a city engineer the day before. Naturally, I followed up, only to find out the engineer hadn’t heard from him in nearly three weeks. So, he was either mistaken or flat-out lying. How does waiting three weeks to send an email qualify as "moving as fast as they can"?

After that, his boss, Anthony Terranova, called me and repeated the same line about working as quickly as possible. When I told him how disappointed I was with QBE’s handling of the situation, he didn’t seem to care—just kept repeating the same generic reassurance.

I get that not everything moves fast with insurance claims, but if QBE is handling yours, be prepared for serious delays and a lot of frustration. They are incredibly difficult to reach, slow to act, and don’t seem particularly motivated to move things along. If you can, avoid dealing with them altogether.

I am writing to formally express our dissatisfaction with the service, pricing and overall experience we have encountered with QBE Insurance.
Having been a customer since 2021 we expected a certain level of professionalism and customer service. However, our recent experiences have been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

Firstly, we must address the inadequate customer service. Each time we attempted to reach your support team, we encountered long wait times, unresponsive agents, and a general lack of concerns for our needs. This level of service falls significantly short of what is expected in the insurance industry, and it has errored our trust in QBE.

Additionally, we are frustrated by the frequent and unjustified price increases. Each renewal has brought higher premiums, despite no changes to our policy or claim history. These 200% price hikes feel arbitrary and lack sufficient explanation, leaving us feeling taken advantage of us as loyal customer.

Given these issues, we are left with no choice but to express our disappointment publicly. We will NOT recommend QBE insurance to others based on our experience, and we will not consider doing business with QBE again.

If I could give then 0 stars I would. Some guy behind a desk gets to decide if damage done to your vehicle is covered. Of course they deny everything. They give you terrible news then tell you to "have a great day!" What a joke of a company.

Made the mistake of going through QBE for home insurance and deeply regret it. They didn’t send our bank the insurance bill, and canceled our insurance, then refused to help us or the bank address the problem. The money was there, but the bank needed the bill to pay it. A lot of hassle for no good reason.

This place is a partner with olive .Com a mechanical breakdown insurance company that doesn't stand behind their policy's for when your car breaks down there excuse is they only cover a mechanical part if it fails but there are alot of electronic sensors that are not mechanical, I got the complete car care package from olive who sells the coverage but doesn't honor any breakdowns claiming that they only sell but when you call to file a claim you call olive,The whole thing that these company's are doing is not ethical Olive.com boasts about making 5 million a year off of hard working people while QBE does the same making 14 billion in revenue while turning down claims or stating your car had a pre condition, the way they do this is that they have found a way to check data bases to see if the car has ever been in for repairs somewhere else, I paid for 3 years up front and with 1 month left on my policy they are playing games so they won't have to cover my repairs before it expires The other company that olive hides behind is Tristar and repair ventures ,Olive even has consumers affairs in their pockets DONT USE ANY OF THESE COMPANYS OR YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE TO THEIR POCKETS AND STILL PAY THE MECHANIC

I see a lot of negative reviews and I'm not sure what the timing on that was. I just dealt with someone from the company yesterday, I'm assuming an adjuster and she was delightful and could not have been more kind.

My car was broken into right outside my apt door while I was moving. That was a month ago and I still haven't received a check to replace my stolen items. I have continually reached out to my claims representative, I have filled out everything they have asked me to,I have sent pictures, receipts, police report,credit card statements, and a detailed list of the items taken. No one ever calls me back or even tries to take care of this issue. Needless to say we will be switching companies as soon as this is rectified!
