Never go with this company! I hit a deer, which was not my fault and then I was hit and run about a year later. Neither were my fault. This company raised my rates and then dropped me without even telling me! And they lied and committed fraud saying the hit-and-run was my fault. I wasn't even in the car. I was in the mall and somebody hit my car in the parking lot, which I will be suing them. If they don't change how they reported the accident.!!! It's sad because my agent was a great guy. It's the company not my agent.

After 17 years of homeowners insurance they denied my claim for the spring Wisconsin Rapids 2024 hail storm. Some of the hail was about 1" diameter. I know they're lying and it's not incompetence because you would have to be blind to not see the obvious damage. Every house for multi miles radius were damaged. The follow up inspection letter statement was "Your shingles do have heavy wear and tear along with old hail damage from a previous claim on July 26, 2014" How the hell can I have hail damage from a 10 year old claim that I replaced the roof on after the storm? I understand they have no problem collecting the premiums over the years... but I think most companies see dollar signs instead of people and understanding when they need to quit the lying and pay legitimate claims....

After being a dedicated customer for several years with both an auto, home policy and no claims, I was suddenly dropped on a home renewal. I will also be changing my auto policy. 10/10 do not reccomend as these past 3 weeks have been a nightmare!

The underwriter completely ignored my insurance agents emails. The accounting office lied and said they hadn't received my home insurance payment made through an escrow account. When in fact it was received and processed the day before. The accounting office lady I spoke with was down right rude and combative.

I even chose to stay with them after an insane rate hike on an auto policy renewal. Had I done more research I would have dropped them back in the fall of 2023

I advise people to look elsewhere for insurance options as there are most certainly better companies out there.

This company is nothing but crooks. Be a loyal customer paying your bills on time for the last 20 years. Have to file one claim due to storm damage and they drop you.
As long as you keep paying they will keep collecting your money. Better not ever file a claim they will pull any stupid reason they can think of to drop you. Way to support your "valued" customers.

They are not a good homeowners insurance company. They are cheap for that reason.

It took us 6+ months to get our claim approved, even with the damaged proof and pictures, and then another 4 months to get the check!
Then with our second claim, in the 7 years we’ve had this insurance, we had water damage, and it took them 3 months to send us a check!

Then they want to drop us because of 2 claims. They punish you for using the service you pay for! Thank heavens as we were looking into other insurance companies after our second claim!

Would never go with the company, and I steer all my family and friends away from them.

Got a letter a few weeks ago that they wouldn’t be renewing my coverage because I was in 2 recent car accidents (not at fault for those) and 1 about 5 years ago, also not at fault and 4 years before I got with them? Doesn’t make sense. Sucks because they were the cheapest

WI mutual insurance has been absolutely amazing...over 20 years with this company and all "incidents" , 5 or 6 of them, have always been handled quickly and efficiently! Also the first question asked " is everyone ok?"I call, tell them what happened and I know everything will be taken care of! Amazing, caring people to work with.

I've had this insurance for over 12 years. I needed the roadside assistance at one point and was told I would have to pay for my tow and they would reimburse me. This was very unhelpful but I still stuck with this insurance company. We recently had a big power outage due to the bad weather which left my home uninhabitable. No heat, or electricity in 5 below cold weather. l called the 24 hour emergency number around 1030pm on a Saturday. I didn't get a return call until the next morning around 9.The rep told me Wisconsin mutual does not cover loss of living due to power outages. At this point I really see no reason to keep this insurance and will be searching for new auto and home insurance.
