I've been working with Mitch for several years now, and I've had a great experience. He takes time to understand my goals and patiently explains what options are available to me and what they entail. He communicates proactively, following up with me about any loose ends we may not have addressed during in-person meetings. Honestly, Walkner and Condon are the best! I can align my investments with my values, have some clarity around my future plans and have someone available to talk to when situations come up or change. Walkner Condon has been managing my investment and retirement accounts for about 4 years and whenever I can, I happily recommend their services. I was Clint Walkner’s client when he was a financial advisor at the UW Credit Union and decided to follow him when he and Nate started their own company. Since then their firm grew and added more competent people I trust and enjoy working with. My current advisor Mitch DeWitt is one of them. He knows how to listen, explain and offer good advice. I am a passive investor and knowing that my money is managed by a team of smart, capable, honest people gives me a peace of mind. My wife Gwen and I were clients of Clint Walkner when he was a financial adviser employee at UW Credit Union. We followed Clint when he and Nate started Walkner Condon because we trusted Clint and were impressed with him as a professional advisor. Nate and Clint both worked with us when they first started their business.
They reviewed the investments that we had, listened to us talk about our family, work, future plans, retirement programs offered by our employers, and our thoughts about financial risk(which was completely different for each of us).
They advised us to stay with our current employers’ plans while we were still working to save us money and they handled our other investments. They now handle all of our investments since we retired.
They have since hired quality professionals to further help their clients. They have a fiduciary relationship with us so that we do not get bogged down in all of the investment details and stay within the investment goals that we agreed to.
We meet with Clint when we want. We could not be happier.

Investing is one of those things that I know next to nothing about and is too daunting for me to try to learn. My advisors at Walkner Condon are perfect for me--they allow me to stick with my preference of staying pretty hands off while also explaining things in ways that I can easily understand and keeping me informed of anything I need to know or actions I need to take. I appreciate that they take all the guesswork out of it for me, and I trust them completely to do what's best. I had delayed doing anything with retirement or investments because it was too overwhelming, and I'm so glad that Walkner Condon has enabled me to get started on that path by making it so easy and accessible for me. Had I wanted to be more hands on I certainly could have been, but it was a relief to know that I didn't have to be.
