Dr Thurman and I discussed the fact that my back has been feeling much better since I had a cortisone shot in December. Also, he presented me with a shot option to improve some right hip pain and I decided to have it done, as well. Overall, everything is good news!

Dr Thurman is just an amazing person and he makes it very apparent he is looking out for the best interests of his patients. The Laramie location is just so lovely! Beautiful place with just really nice folks! Never had an issue with the Cheyenne location, but the Laramie location is just special. Highly recommend PBJ to everyone I know!

I saw the doctor two years ago for the same problem that was resolved but flared up recently due to extraneous physical activities. Two years ago, I chose to take a more conservative approach to address the problem instead of what the doctor suggested. The problem resolved on its own. When I saw the doctor again today, he was rude and impatient, seemed to be unhappy about me not following his recommendations two years ago. He didn’t ask about the circumstances around the condition this time. The appointment was over in less than 5 minutes. He said he wouldn’t discuss anything with me today. He left the room and told me someone will be coming in to talk about physical therapy and MRI. After sitting in the room for a while, nobody came. I asked him if we are done when I saw him in the hallway. He then told me we are done. I respect the doctor’s expertise and opinion. I just have issue how his opinion is communicated. I don’t think this is the way to treat a patient. I don’t want to go back and see this doctor again.
