I was with this bank for over 20 years, and with every new merger the quality of service has decreased. There have been many disrespectful interactions that caused me to move banks.

My business card would get compromised every couple of months, my daily limit was never set where I asked it to be, and companies I ordered from regularly would be marked as fraud. Causing a disruption in my business that I didn't have time to deal with on a WEEKLY basis. Their concern was I would "over-draft my business account", almost as if they didn't trust me to be able to manage my funds.

The final nail in the coffin was when my business debit card was compromised the last time prior to moving banks, I was informed by an employee that "I should know better than to online game on my business card" and that they were was nothing they could do since the charge was from "Apple". I have never owned an apple product. And when I finally got a hold of Apple they tracked it down to a fraud account and refunded all the transactions. All something their fraud department should have been able to do for me, instead of me having to spend hours and hours on the phone.

I was six months into my personal construction loan when they wanted me to come in for an update on progress meeting. Little did I know they were going to try and shove mortgage papers down my throat. And telling me that I needed to get into a mortgage immediately. The house wasn't even on the property yet and I had only pulled $50k of loan at that time.

When it came time to refinance my construction loan into a mortgage, and them knowing that I am self employed, their mortgage lender denied me for lack of proof of income, despite having my construction loan through them, and having my business accounts with them for over a decade. He was also unwilling to look into other third party lenders, leaving me to search on my own three weeks before my balloon payment for the construction loan was due. This company has not had my back since their first merger away from the Security First name.
