I generally get good service, and has never been a bad experience. The only 2 complaints in all of my years with Verve.
1. Someone at Verve to a hard credit check without my knowledge or permission, simply because I looked at the loan section on the app or website. Dinged my credit for months.
2. At least once every 6 months for the last several years I have had a larger bill payment withdraw of $300-500 completed on one day, and the next day, new charges that came after the payment was completed are slipped in BEFORE the big payment and deposits are moved later so that I suddenly go from having completed payment of my public service bill one day on my statement to have the same bill returned for NSF. I screenshot my bills daily so that I call call verve out on it again.

I needed a loan for a different vehicle so I went to Verve credit union. They were very kind and very helpful. I got the loan I needed so now I can make my appointments and not worry about breaking down. Thank you Verve.

I needed a personal loan. I was able to be approved and had the money within a couple hours. I saw a rep using their virtual assistant and it was a great experience.

In a interracial relationship. I can tell the treatment is different when I walk in with him versus by him going by himself. He’s deposited money into my savings for quite some time. But when he goes without me it’s always a problem. It’s easy to say it’s not like that, but tell the person on the receiving end that gets treated differently when his other half isn’t there. It shouldn’t be that way and anyone doing that should not be working there. I have had a problem a few years ago where a verve employee spoke to me very disrespectful about a loan that I wanted and I also had the money as well. I just wanted to build credit. But the employee spoke to me like I was below the poverty level or something. Never said anything too much but I have observed my other half experiencing similar treatment and I have to put it out there when he’s done nothing but try to do what’s right. As long as it’s not fraudulent, there’s no reason for him being rejected by a targeting employee. All people aren’t bad people! There’s bad in every race, not just black.

It was a smooth transaction. Havnt bought a vehicle in 10yrs so was learning how to do it all over again. The lady was very nice helping me get through it.
