We are a General contractor looking for workers compensation insurance for our construction company . We talked with Chris Lavin the representative for Rock 10 insurance to obtain quotes for our workers compensation insurance needs . He asked us for a previous quote from another insurance company and we sent this to him, He obtained a quote that we thought was accurate until the insurance company did an audit . The insurance company ended up charging our company almost three times the amount of the original quote since the reported income was more than he had quoted .But that was not the only problem he failed to get an accurate estimate of wages from our payroll . We usually obtain this from ADP our payroll processor when they ask for it . He never did ask for it or due his due diligence as a insurance broker to obtain accurate payroll information . I was quoted around $10,000 for the insurance policy and after the audit they are charging me $27,000 . I contacted Rock 10 insurance and they replied that it was my responsibility as I signed the contract . I hired an insurance broker to represent our company in obtaining insurance quotes and they have a fiduciary duty to present to the customer an honest and accurate quote. . I have filed a complaint with the insurance commissioner and they are investigating them . Do not use them for insurance if you want an accurate quote .

My neighbor's contractor created a water damage in my garage. The contractor is using this insurance company. My case went through this company. It is a very simple claim, but it has been two months since all the repair work are done and I am still not receiving any reimbursement. The adjuster is very hard to reach and never answers his calls. The whole experience has been very disappointing.
