As an established member of several different credit unions, School first, Wescom Credit Federation, and Midcities’s credit Union. I was appalled when I received a notice from the loss mitigation department, not wishing to negotiate different terms that I would actually receive from other credit unions. All I was told repeatedly is that we are not like the other ones, so I found it very frustrating and also exhausting that no matter how many times I placed a call I received no support or resolution on the matter that I tried to resolve before it got to the point that it did. My RV was stolen, so 98% of it was paid off. Yet, they didnt want to discuss terms in the balance, which was less then 5K. I will not utilize this company every again, most credit unions that work with an organization is use to working with members, this one is truly different. They only with with you when you're paying, don't miss a payment because they are not helpful at all.

Last Friday, February 23rd, I needed to complete a transaction at Golden 1 Credit Union in Goleta. Myriad complications arose, none of which were the fault of Golden 1, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I was at the response to these complications. The kindness of Karla and her supervisor in assisting me was unparalleled. In our modern world where it is difficult to even speak to a human being let alone have a business matter handled professionally, efficiently, and courteously, Golden 1 deserves sincere praise! Karla and her supervisor stayed half an hour past closing time on a Friday evening in order to troubleshoot the problems and arrive at a resolution. Not only did they succeed, but the whole staff admired and interacted with my eight-month-old baby in the meantime, who was having a very challenging day with his teething. Many thanks to you all for taking the time to help with a smile!

Yo i just called customer service, i forgot the person’s name :/. She processed my payment over the phone , was professional and incredibly kind! For the first time ever i stuck around for the survey at the end of the call, the representative didnt even mention it, I accidentally gave a 1 then I corrected with a 5. Its a 5/5 service!!! Just wanted to extend that specification because I was satisfied and would like to continue to be!

Every time I have gone in to Golden One I have been Greeted with smiles and they have been very professional with me. I had an issue with an Overdraft that honestly was kind of embarrassing at the time. I was waiting for my next check to be deposited to be quite honest they covered me and dealt with me with me in a courteous and professional manner. I was apologetic and the manager said don't worry about it that's what we're here for it happens to everybody. I wasn't penalized or anything just moved forward. I was like this is definitely My Bank.... 💜
