This was my first time at the dentist in a long time and I’m so glad I gave them a try. They are the sweetest, most understanding staff I have had. I can’t believe how comfortable and friendly they were. Even during my cleaning, they were very patient and careful. I’m so grateful to be trusting them with my dental care!

Super friendly front desk girls, the Doctor and the rest of staff are great at what they do. Loved how much they talk to you and explain what’s going on! Would definitely reccomend to anyone who may be nervous about going to the dentist.

The staff at Advanced Family Dentistry in Fairbanks, Alaska have been fantastic the four years that I’ve been going to them. Today wasn’t any different. The gals at the front desk were very proficient and friendly. It was my first time seeing Shawna who cleaned my teeth. I struggle with sensitivity, but she was able to clean my teeth and have me out the door within 45 minutes. I enjoyed getting to visit with her and loved the job she did on my teeth. I also saw Adriana to get another Invisalign tray.
I would recommend Advanced Family Dentistry to anyone that’s looking for a dentist.

Such an amazing group that work here. They take into account my chronic health conditions, and have gotten my actual teeth in much better condition. Finding ways to work with me despite my inflammation problems (which has been a huge problem in my dental health) to improve the overall condition of my teeth.
Clear communication, in what issues they see need to be addressed soon, vs we can just watch this one for a while.
My children are both adults now, but working with them when they were younger to ensure they were comfortable, and understood what they were doing without causing them to feel scared. They have continued to use them, into their young adulthood.
My husband has also been with them, and has felt good about their communication, work done, and expectations of what needs done.

I had an infection and needed an appointment immediately. They squeezed me in and even were able to fit the time in for me to get surgery at the same time. Advanced Family Dentistry helped with an unbearable pain and even though I’m not from Alaska I felt at home with the care I was provided.

I’ve been going to Advanced Family Dentistry for many years and have been pleased with every visit. They go above and beyond and their staff is friendly and easy to work with. However, on a recent visit, in which I was scheduled to have a crown, an unexpected root canal needed to be performed. This was due to, as explained to me, because the nerve was exposed after removing the previous filling and what was left of a cavity. I was told that nerve endings can extend beyond what shows up in an X-Ray. But once a nerve ending is exposed the end result must be a root canal, even if the nerve is healthy, which it was. All of these things I’m completely ok with as I recognize unexpected things can happen. And even with the gracious discount, of approximately %10 I'm guessing, the bill ended up being double what I was expecting to pay. Again, I’ve had nothing but good experiences here, but I believe there could’ve been more done to lessen the cost of the added root canal on what was a healthy nerve.
