I always loved going inside and feeling the presents of God all around 🥰 but it is closed now for restoration , but its already been two years on restoration and it looks like they haven't started 😓 it has beautiful stained glass inside and statues 🥰❤️ the gargoyles on the outside still stand the test of time even though some are broken. The flowers that are growing on the property are sooo beautiful 🥰❤️ . Hopefully they are able to save this church before it falls apart more 😓

I had hoped to see the inside, but it was closed. The church on the outside was beautiful. Hope to go back some day to see the inside.

I absolutely love the architectural structure of this church! Everywhere you look you see something different, whether it be on the outside or the inside. This amazing historical structure is full of energy that just brings it to life and makes you feel the history that lies deep in its walls.

+JMJ...Giving this Church a 5 star rating, even though when I visited the Church was locked, because of its historical significance and because of the ancient style architecture. The gargoyles (now in a pitiable state of decaying) are comparable to those I have seen during visits to Italy. I met a woman a few years ago who mentioned that she and her mother were hopeful to encourage the diocese to restore this historical Church treasure to its former beauty as a house of worship and prayer. One day I'll return to Flagstaff and hope to be able to visit the interior.
UPDATE: Visited Sunday 4 June 2023, with a friend. Church is no longer a parish. Was surprised to see exterior renovations! Hope that can continue this work and then reopen the Church for its intended use: Faithful followers of Jesus Christ gather to hear the Word of God (Sacred Scripture) read and expounded upon. And, to pray as a community and partake of the Holy Sacraments. In Jesus's Name, I pray it will come to pass.

What a beautiful church. We were blessed to have our son's wedding in this church a couple of weeks ago. This historic building and all its architecture designs are simply amazing and to think there were no power tools and had to be crafted by hand and simple tools of the 1800 's. If you haven't been there, I would highly recommend putting it on your bucket list. I understand they are raising money to restore the building as it showing signs of sever aging. A project worthy of investment!
