Oh god never again i basically got ripped off. I had an accident with their insured they fixed the body work and left me with an engine light i will never consider farmers and will always from now on hire an attorney to deal with them i would lump them in with progressive cut rate cheap only do what we must instance

I was hit on X date By X person in the lowes parking lot in casa grande az I was moving through the exit lane minding my own business when this individual moved out of a parking isle across the inbound lane of traffic striking my rear quarter panel & bumper on a 2002 collectors edition camaro. His excuse for the accident was the sun was in his eyes and he was sneezing.
Although it was in no way my responsibility I accompanied the individual to his insurance office a sub contract insurance under the Farmers umbrella. we both gave accurate and concurrent statements at that time.
Frank my adjuster from his insurance told me not to worry they were assuming full responsibility I would have a rental and this would all be taken care of. since I was still shaken from the accident I asked Frank to e mail me all the pertinent information to my email as it was MY intent to get the ball rolling that day.
In the 30 minutes it took me to arrive back home and begin the process of getting my car into the shop Franks Demeanor went from Don't worry we will Take care of this to the planets and stars need to align before we move. the insurance brick wall at this point I involved my husband.
I proceeded to my local GM dealer who sadly does not have an onsite body shop but they send all work to Service king a certified GM repair facility. Back to Casa Grande I go.
Service King deemed my car derivable & sent me home with an appointment for the following Monday.
I left the car in my garage the entire weekend as it had not been looked at for any structural damage only photoed for the apparent physical damage
At this point my husband and I needed to pull hens teeth to get the insurance off their backside and give me a conformation for a rental car
the rental? This is a JOKE I drive a camaro a substantial car both in size and drivability
they put me in a ford Fiesta! The only thing worse would have been a smart car. where I am not asking that they put me in another camaro I am however asking that they give me a car at least close to the size I am accustomed to driving. Then they complain when I ask they increase the allotment for the rental to cover both the added collision and break in insurance I opted for. In taking them I was only being responsible as I am not accustomed to driving a car I cannot see the nose of. None of this expense should land at my feet or at the door of my insurance they told me it was optional duplicate insurance and would not cover it. In my mind they should be forced to I would not BE in this rental if it had not been for their insuree so why am I being punished for being responsible? In my opinion it is MORE likely that i will have an accident in a car I am not used to than the one I have driven for years now. In no way will I pay a deductible to my insurance company should another accident occur for a car I would not have been driving if the other individual had been paying attention!
