OpenTech Alliance was very helpful in helping us to get our storage units open. Jordan G., helped in any way possible. As a new manager faced with the job of getting everything set up, I had no idea!!! Jordan walked me through the whole process, sharing his knowledge and professionalism along the way. We had a few hiccups and Jordan just took over, made me feel so confident in his ability and understanding of what was needed to take on this project. Couldn't have done it with out him and OpenTech Alliance, he just knew the right answers!!! Great company......

If you are a self storage owner/operator or property manager I would recommend staying away from this company. We operate 5 storage facilities and have used their call center, remote manager, keypad, and kiosk services. All of these services have been a major disappointment. This company does not care about fostering long term mutually beneficial relationships with their customers. All of their contracts include significant termination fees so you are unable to end services without significant penalties. Instead of focusing on providing a quality product or service their focus is on squeezing as much money as they can out of their customers through hidden fees. Customer support is often non existent or unresponsive.

Edgar was extremely patient and helpful with me today. I called in to OpenTech with a problem, a half formed thought and idea. He listened to me, took time to try and understand what I was trying to explain and accomplish. When he wasn't sure how to help me he spoke with come coworkers and within 20 minutes, changes were made to my account that perfectly matched my goals. Thank you for your time and patience.

Is there a 0 star? This is the worst company ever. They are a bunch of crooks, and they set up the wording on their services to be very confusing. They've overcharged us for months on autopay. For the past 3 weeks, I've sent them 3 well-worded emails with the billing attachments to their Accounts Receivable team and copied our representative with zero response.

I called open Tech talked to a gentleman who seemed to know a lot about what I needed instead he sent two guys who had the FaceTime what had to be done. I gave him $3,000 cash, they didn't know what the hell they were doing. They did 80% of it backwards from what they were supposed to do. I wound up having to do it myself. The guy said he was going to get on a plane the next day and come to Toledo Ohio to do it. He's a liar and a manipulator. Never Gave me one cent back,then had his secretary making up excuses for him. Lowest form of humanity.

I have a unit at a storage facility that uses opentech keypads that are supposedly blue tooth and the gate is supposed to open automatically after app is installed and set to run in background. If lucky app may automatically open gate 40% of the time. The other 60% I either have to open the app and tap the open button to open gate. No one has seem to be able to fix this issue. Storage facility said they gave up contacting opentech for support as they cannot seem to find a solution for this problem. Better to delete app and get out of vehicle to enter gate codes manually. Storage quit offering tenants access to the app due to the issues that it only works part of the time.

I purchased 5 720 kiosks for our storage locations with full coverage. Non of them ever worked well, their employees don't use the cameras when doing live chat, or dont answer live chat, the bill collector broke on one, the screens freeze and need to be restarted, the lock dispensers gets stuck. Huge waste of money. Tech support was of no help. After a little over one year we are terminating service, and just like the previous review below they are trying to bully us with early termination fees. Huge waste of time.
