If I could give zero stars, I would. Our move-in experience with Opulent Real Estate has been one of the most unprofessional and frustrating property management experiences I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve worked in property management myself for over six years, managing 22 communities across two submarkets.

Upon receiving the keys, we were handed unlabeled keys, no mailbox number, and no garage remote (which was listed in our lease). After multiple follow-ups, no solution was provided. We had to track down the mailbox info ourselves and purchase and program our own garage remote. To date, we’ve received no reimbursement or meaningful support.

Worse than that, the home was filthy. We moved in with a 10-month-old child and a disabled veteran, only to find:
• Black mold-like buildup behind the washer
• Sticky, unsanitary shelving throughout closets
• Dog hair in drawers
• Pet urine odor in the carpet (which was “professionally cleaned” according to them)
• Lumped, buckled carpets posing a trip hazard
• Dirty drawers and bathroom shelving that required extensive personal cleaning

Despite these clear violations of basic hygiene and habitability standards, the response from management has been dismissive at best. No apology. No acknowledgment of the unsanitary conditions. No urgency to fix or compensate for the time and labor we’ve spent making the home livable.

This company does not operate with the professionalism, knowledge, or follow-through required of a competent property management firm. Save yourself the stress, we absolutely DO NOT recommend renting from Opulent Real Estate

I’m extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism demonstrated by Opulent, particularly on the management side—most notably Danielle Starr. There has been a consistent lack of communication, poor customer service, and repeated failure to address or resolve issues in a timely manner. Danielle’s approach gives the impression of indifference and disregard for clients, which leads me to wonder if she may be a relative or part-owner, given the way she operates without accountability.

If you’re looking for a company that is responsive, respectful, and committed to customer satisfaction, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Our experience with Opulent has been the opposite.

I am currently a tenant and have been for over a decade. Recently within the last 2 years I have had the WORST experience. Danielle, is so unprofessional and refuses to call to discuss my issue. If you are a looking to hire Opulent as your property manager please steer clear. The incompetence and unprofessionalism is not worth whatever “deal” they are trying to give you.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. The level of unprofessionalism is staggering. They completely ignore calls and refuse to answer the door, which makes it clear they are deliberately avoiding accountability. The team shows no concern for quality, customer service, or even basic decency. It genuinely feels like they’re hiding from the consequences of their own negligence. I strongly urge anyone considering this business to look elsewhere — you deserve much better than this.

When I initially contacted the management team going through the application process I was surprised at the lack of professional courtesy/concern in their response to my questions. We are always guilty of asking simple questions, but myself being in a professional world I know it is my responsibility to represent the company. First contact impressions were, that they are not concerned about their customers.

I move state to state with work so I didn’t even see the house before moving in. Upon move in I found the carpets were not cleaned and baseboards were covered in dirt. And I personally have never left a house without out-of-pocket professional cleaning

Shortly after move-in I requested the garbage disposal to be fixed as it does not work. They responded with a link of how to fix things yourself And said it worked when I moved in.

As I said from traveling a lot, I have never experienced such out of the box lack of welcoming or Incompetence to do that which they are getting paid to do

I am continually impressed by their updates and they take a keen interest in developing long-term relationships.
