My experience with Specialized has been wonderful. They're quick to address issues within my apartment and the biggest thing for me: they emphasize outdoor space and community gardening. It's so rare to find that within an apartment community and I'm really grateful. They even provided me with a grant to help make some more eco-friendly changes around the property for our animal friends. We're signing another lease with them because we haven't experienced a better apartment life anywhere else and don't think we could!

Very friendly and they listen to any concerns and Brian the maintenance guy goes above and beyond to fix any issues there may be, plus he is a really nice respectful person and my apartment was very nice and good size. Pet friendly too ! Nieghbors are respectful and nice too.

0 stars would be more appropriate. At the Wilson Park Apartments, the electrical is wildly outdated, there have been more than 3 gas leaks in the apartment in the past 2 years, and any time there is an issue, Gabriel the property manager is unreachable. Amazing location and could be an excellent community area, if it wasn’t such a terrifying death trap.

Specialized real estate group manges the network building and refuses to bring in the expensive specialists to fix the HVAC system. I'm on the third floor and my A/C is not working. Also, the "net zero" carbon is a lie. They haven't hooked up the solar panels yet.

I was interested in moving into the uptown departments, so I gave them my deposit to hold my room. I ended up not moving into the apartment and specialized real estate would not refund me my deposit when I didn't even move into the complex. The only thing they offered me was to hold my deposit for 6 months if I decided to move in. I didn't think that was ethical of them to pretty much take my money when I didn't even move in yet. Overall I was not happy with the service and miscommunication from their employees.

The company has responsive and supportive staff. The management team gets the problems solved quickly. You could find out that they care about the residents and will always be there. I have never met such a nice management team so far.
