I had an awful experience with Compak Asset Management. I opened my account at a bad time in the market. It was during a bear market after a big bear market rally. I was concerned because the relationship manager did massive buying at that time, and he had me 80% invested in stocks. I emailed my concern to him. He later called me and said I should never email a complaint because the emails are sent throughout the company and read by the Compliance department.

Another time I emailed my concern to an officer of the company. Once again the relationship manager called me and said that causes problems because it goes to Compliance. He told me never to email my concerns to the company because it goes to Compliance and causes all sorts of problems.

A few months later I received a mass email from Compak inviting me to a webinar about the market. I emailed a reply saying I didn't think it would do much good. I never even mentioned the relatiinship manager. The next day I received a call at work from the relationship manager. He yelled at me, insulted me, and berated me. He repeatedly called me a moron and shouted that I am the dumbest person he ever met in his life. I was at work at the time at my software development job, so I was very polite. But, he was boorish, loud, and insulting, with a horrendous voice. It was very unprofessional.

They don't care about their client seemed to be making trades in my account that made no sense or money. I can only assume that they were receiving some sort of commission from these trades. They did not even beat the SP 500 in the 2 past years 2022-23.
