Billing. We’ve run into this before at another hospital in Utah that is run by Intermountain. In that situation I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor so they stopped sending us bills we’d already paid. In this situation with Cassia Hospital we made a payment plan to pay off our baby bill. Everything was lumped together and we began paying-no issues. This started in the spring time. In November I got a notice saying we were delinquent. We had our payment plan on automatic payment so I was surprised and decided to look into it. Apparently Intermountain missed a bill from 9 months earlier and it hadn’t been included in our payment plan. They decided to bill it and expected payment right away on top of what we were already paying monthly. I really think there needs to be a law saying that after so long services cannot be billed for. Either that or some leeway for the person paying-we were responsible and set up a payment plan and weren’t even late on any of our payments yet here the company is sending us nasty emails because their billing department missed one visit of billing 9 months ago and now they expect it to be paid ASAP. It’s ridiculous. I’ll pray their billing department will get it together-its not right to the customer when they do this type of stuff. I understand things can be missed but placing all the burden on the patient because a big company messed up isn’t right either.

A registered nurse at this hospital has broken HIPPA ethic laws while working at Cassia Regional Hospital as a nurse by telling myself and others of who is in the hospital and what they are in the hospital for and sharing their medical conditions. I have the screen shots of text to prove this. She texted about a minor giving their name and stating they were in the hospital being seen for suicide and that they tested positive for drugs. This information was not asked for she sent the text with this information unsolicited and more of gossiping intent. Be warned that your medical privacy is not protected here and this is horrible behavior by a Registered Nurse. My family who all were born and raised and still live in this area no longer feel safe to go to Cassis Regional due to this and now travel to Twin Falls for health care.

Cassia Regional had a winning team last night. From the beginning, I was admitted in a timely manner. ER Tech Cheyenne was great and checked on me throughout my visit. My ER nurses, Kerrie and Hailey were amazing also. Very compassionate. My CT tech Curtis was a stand out also. He was very informative and explained the process well. The stand outs to me were Dr. Caleb Anderson, and medical student, Allie Ahlm. They could not have been better. They were incredible. They both took plenty of time to explain everything to me and even pulled up Google images to further explain my illness in detail. I was pretty worried for a minute and they eased my fears and took excellent care of me. I would take last night's team in any situation. They were all a great team and I can't thank them enough.

I was deeply disappointed by the lack of empathy and professionalism my mother experienced during her recent visit to the hospital. Despite her symptoms related to her autoimmune disease, the attending physician dismissed her concerns and stated that the hospital is only meant for emergencies. Every patient, including my mother, deserves to feel respected and understood when seeking medical assistance. Instead, she was met with derogatory remarks and made to feel like she was wasting the doctor's time. Such behavior is unacceptable and highlights the urgent need for improved patient-centered care and sensitivity training among healthcare providers.

Don’t take your family member here, specially to the ER, they may be dying and the ladies take forever asking you stupid questions. Get her or him in a room with a doctor and then I’ll answer any questions you want! Every second is crucial! How is it an emergency room when you don’t get in a room and you don’t get medical help until you finish answering all the questions the front lady has. Zero stars for you guys!!

Had an event today where I had to take my wife to emergency, she was having a hard time breathing, and they took forever to take her in to a room, when she had to be checked right away. Being an emergency area they should have clean rooms for moments like this, and be able to take the patient right away and see what is going on. Every sec is crucial, and I found it unprofessional the way they approached the situation. That is why it's called emergencies for a reason.

I had an ultrasound appointment, and as a first time mother I have so many questions. My ultrasound tech(Jaime) made me feel very uncomfortable she seemed annoyed at my 1st time mom questions. I was going to record because I was so excited, she told me I can’t record and didn’t explain why. I was so thrilled for this appointment and left very uneasy. I went to empty my bladder and there was feces all over the toilet you would think it being a hospital it would be a lot cleaner.

My dad was taken care of here by the Drs and nurses. I was very impressed with how thorough they were. They did a blood culture and found a fungal infection in his blood. This same infection had been missed by both Minidoka Memorial in Rupert and St Luke's in Twin Falls. I am very grateful for the care my dad got here.
