Overall, I had a positive experience while living here. Dee, whose cell number I provided with, was a prompt and effective communicator, who always answered whatever questions I had. The apartment was clean and move-in ready.
The response to my maintenance needs was prompt and friendly.
On the constructive side, very rarely did someone at Legacy's main office phone number actually answer the phone. Nor could anyone in the office help me if I went in to speak with someone, unless Dee was there. In other words, if Dee was working outside the office, no one else could help me, which I found frustrating.
If a tenant wants to rent month-to-month after their lease is up, they have to pay an extra $100 per month over their existing rent, which I think is excessive.
The move-out process was straight-forward.
Security deposits are refunded in 45 days or so once they check over the apartment. They will send you an email with a disposition letter stating how much you're getting back. It includes an email address you can write to with any questions or clarifications needed. However, I wrote to them but got no reply. So no email address is helpful if they don't reply.
I had a good experience overall, but Dee should not be the only one responsible for all the communication in my opinion. Communication is an area that needs improvement for Legacy as a whole.

Worst experience ever renting. Property manager was incredibly rude and the whole place had roaches, they sprayed twice the whole year I lived there, and maintenance never responds to requests. I lived there the last 3 months of my lease with a broken window they never fixed and the dishwasher always leaked. I also got scammed outta $750, I paid first and last month rent when I moved in and I still had to pay the last month rent again before I moved out.

Management staff endorsement here for East Fifth Street townhomes in Fayetteville. Dee was always responsive from initial tour to my exit. Dale and maintenance staff were pleasant and performed magic in a unit that a previous tenant had not cared for properly. Thanks Dee, Dale and other team members!

By far one of the least professional encounters iāve had with a company. I had plans to move in and take over my friends lease, and then decided against it. I never signed a lease so I assumed we were fine on all fronts. I get a slightly disrespectful email telling me i have to give notice to vacate, though I never moved in. And they say legally I applied and asked for a move in date acting like I was still responsible for some costs. Regardless, never moved in, never signed a lease, and then was spoken to disrespectfully. Take this as a warning and go literally anywhere else.

Iāve had a really positive experience with Legacy, especially as of lately. The management had some changes and since then thereās been a huge shift in attentiveness to tenants.
Dee, the Property Manager, has been incredibly helpful, efficient and kind. Sheās dealt with any issues Iāve had within 24 hours.
Dale, the Maintenance Manager, has fixed multiple problems for me and itās always been timely and seamless.
I just signed my third year lease with them a few days ago and have nothing but positive things to say since the switch over of staff.

There are a few bad reviews on here, but I have not had issues, Dee is a great landlord, she responds with the quickness, she is always polite. Helps whatever is needed. Most landlords are not pleasant, but she is. I am gonna renew my lease

Any reviews over a 1 star are literal bots. These people are the worst management staff I have EVER experienced. You want to contact your property manager Well good luck you will get sent to voicemail 10/10 times. Email Oh that email doesnāt exist anymore.. I have gone as far as contacting the real owner TIM and he does not even want to respond to me. They try and push extra late charges on your account and can barely keep the grass cut during the summer.. this can go on and on⦠they have nice places but absolutely worst staff I have ever experienced in my 7 years of renting⦠0 STARS!

I lived here over 2 years ago, my experience living here wasnāt great, roaches, busted pipes, shootings, etc.
They tried to keep my deposit even though my apartment was better than when I arrived, I had records to prove it & got it back, many other issues, that would of screwed me if I didnāt threaten to have my attorney take action.
2 years later, my new apartment complex & this one share a payment portal, unfortunately because of their lack of ensuring system errors, & not deleting my old account with them,
3k worth of payments went to this company instead of my present apartment. I nicely requested the return of my funds, over & over, with promises it would be done by the end of the week for 4 different weeks. I of course reported the issue to my creditor & let them know, I was trying to get the merchant to return it but I want it on record that this money is not theirs. Well after a month of lies, manipulation & being ignored, I went yet again & made it clear my card company will move foward marking it as fraud & I will be filing a suit. One of the employees, old bitter lady, went through transactions & was asking about mine from 2 years ago. Seeing if I owed so they could keep my money, even if I did, they couldnāt keep those funds, but i didnāt, & that was clear as day on her laptop, as my profile said I made all my payments in dark bold letters. I even offered proof from this same company everything was cleared. She kept asking about old transactions, I answered still, but after 15 minutes I answered & said in the same tone of voice I had the entire time, It was irrelevant, the recent transactions were the only issue, & even if I did owe, they couldnāt keep any of the money as it was obtained illegally. She immediately tried to gaslight me & play victim that I was ātaking my frustration outā on her, raising her voice at me because in the same tone, I stood my ground that my living history with them was irrelevant. She was hoping she could scam me( I have it ALL on video)
She then made excuses I hadnāt spoken to her, when I spoke to the OWNER a month prior, & then her team member a week prior, who said theyād talk to her. When I called out that lie, she said her daughter was in the hospital, again irrelevant & an excuse for the lie because i gave them a month to do their ādue diligenceā & go through transaction history though again irrelevant to these funds. She then smarted off & said āwell I didnāt make the payment to the wrong companyā while saying in the same sentence letās blame Apfolio the payment portal they use that caused the error, she blamed me even though it was THEIR system, & tried to use that as a reason to disrespect me, while saying āsheās tryna help me.ā
Finally over 20 minutes later after I went to the owner & said I want this handled, I finally get a check for MY money, the next day, I call my creditors to inform them, one creditor said they needed the document of payment from the merchant (aka the owner) I asked if I could submit it, even though I had no obligation to call at all, as itās the merchants job to prove they didnāt commit fraud & or proved they paid me back. But no I was nice & called as well. When I called Tim to let him know he needed to submit that simple document as my bank already tried to contact him as it had already been 30 DAYS of him ignoring the issue tryna steal my money. He then threatened me saying he was going to put a stop on the check, & saying he was going to refuse to do anything else, aka submitting the document proving he paid me back, which would make the funds reverse back into my account, which would give him the ability to screw me, thankfully I already cashed it before calling my creditors cause I refuse to trust these criminals. & had my attorney & witness to that call, that was able to vouch when I called my creditors again & informed them of the future attempt at fraud by the merchant & refusal to cooperate which would get me in trouble, & they thankfully accepted the document from me instead.
