Living under property owned by elevate real estate has been a truly terrible experience. My property manager consistently fails to do her job of informing tenants ahead of time about very loud and disrupting construction or repairs, and only sends out notices for things like: late rent, trash bins not being put up. We have been woken up at 6 in the morning by roofers. MULTIPLE times, after not being informed at all about it.
Me and the other tenants I live next to have been treated like we are not humans, we are just paychecks for the property. Someone was evicted after damage from the tornado, by just a note on their door. Not a phone call or anything.
I could list on and on about the terrible experiences I’ve had with the terrible property manager but honestly the entire company as a whole doesn't seem to care at all about the people that live here. Just money.
If I wanted to live somewhere that only cared about money, I should just live under Lindsey Management again, because at least they never failed to give me proper notice for anything.
Any time I try to say my grievances I’m met with rudeness, defensiveness and just sometimes ignored. So maybe a possible future tenant will see this and hopefully it will stop them from living on any of these properties.
Edit Added: instead of trying to do better as property managers, they are forcing me out of my apartment and gave me a thirty day notice to be out of my apartment-and you guessed it- with just a notice on my door. If you have any brains, DO NOT LIVE AT ANY OF THESE PROPERTIES!!!! They are the worst of the worst, they don’t care at ALL about people, only money. They don’t even keep up with basic pest control- they say they do but I never ever ever see a pest control person and I’ve had issues with all kinds of spiders and ants since I’ve moved in. They don’t take care of our parking lot during snow storms, they don’t treat it beforehand or anything. they don’t do anything that is supposed to be taken care of for you at an apartment. They charge outrageous prices for tiny spaces that are barely remodeled, my floors let drafts in so my apartment is always cold. All of our AC units barely keep up during the summer. There’s a giant hole right behind my patio where a tree was pulled up- stump is still there and hole has been collecting the nastiest water for MONTHS. Literally a renters NIGHTMARE!!!!! One of my neighbors didn’t have any damn smoke alarms until 2 months ago….. she’s been living there for a while now…… If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. But one star is as low as I can go.
