Best advice is just to get a referral and get out of there. One time I went there they said the only thing wrong with me was swollen lymph nodes and it’ll pass. Months later the “lymph nodes” are still swollen and I end up going to the ER about it. Found out I had two hernias and I had to get emergency surgery for. There has been countless accounts of malpractice and which has cost me almost my life due to the lack of education and doctors that even come close to caring. I know military medical is bad but dude it almost killed me.

What in previous years used to be a very good operation is now almost a joke. You are NEVER able to actually talk to anyone in the pharmacy on the phone. Simply calling in a refill now is an ordeal, as is picking up a refill or a new prescription.

Pharmacy has been closed over a week now and closed again today. People need their meds. The line that was set up for activating prescriptions just continuously rings. No one else gets this much time off ever. Looks open on the web page but when you call they are closed. This needs to be fixed

I called to leave a message for the nurse requesting a prescription be transferred to Express Scripts since I'd been informed the base didn't carry the medication any longer. The return call came later the same afternoon, which was great and a first! Usually takes several days for a return call. Anyway, the nurse told me they could just prescribe a couple of other meds that "made up" the medication. I told her I'd already been through that with the prior doctor, and it didn't work. I added that I've had migraines for most of my life and this medication was the first to really help. Then she went into a long explanation about how much it took to transfer the prescription, and she wasn't even sure the doctor knew how to do it. She talked about it being a long process, to which I responded that it sounded like the sooner we got started, the sooner I'd get my much needed medication. She said she'd talk to the doctor and call me back.
My mistake seems to be that I always think folks will do their job, and that medical folks actually want to help you. More and more it proves that they don't want to do any more than they have to, and that my needs are requiring too much effort on their part.
Obviously she knows the process since she went into an in-depth explanation to me, so why can't she walk the doctor through it? If the doctor doesn't know how to do it, isn't it time he/she learned?
I simply needed assurance that the transfer would be processed, and made aware of the expected time it would take. Thank you very much.

I was a dependent of my father until I was about 21. I called about getting some information transferred to my PCP. They told me I had to fill out a form at my PCPs office to get the info.
So I went out to my PCP and they told me I needed the fax and phone number. I called the number I had to the medical center and I was transferred a few times until I got to the “right” place.
I kindly began explaining that I got my information filled out and I was about to verify what the fax information was - and then they hung up on me. Thinking this was a mistake I called back again. And again. It was clear that I was being ignored.
All I needed was a fax number. My PCPs office was able to help and get it figured out but the fact is that there are people out there (specifically military men and women) who need help and compassion from their medical group and it is clear that these honorable people are not getting it. If you are unwilling to help people that are unwell - whether you’re a medical doctor or a receptionist, do not go into that field. This person was very unprofessional and counter productive. Please consider that there are people with mental health issues that need your help. Have a blessed day 🙂

The receptionist doesn't know paxlovid exists. This antiviral medication has been approved to treat covid for 6 months. They issued false information to us ("there is no medicine for covid").

Honestly just disappointed. The soldiers, airmen and others coming to this facility should get better service and theres no need for staff to treat patients like they're in bootcamp.

After being informed, with documentation from federal agencies, that a TSgt in the clinic illegally accessed multiple health records, they have yet to court marshal or separate her. In fact she is still working in the Med Clinic who knows who else records she has breached!
