12/19/24 Update: Added a few stars due to a Customer Service Manage reaching out after reading this review. I appreciate that she apologized and took accountability for the issue. She acknowledged not meeting the expected level of service. She said they have been trying to staff up and improve training. I understand the insurance market is being roiled in California and other states so cancellations and premium hikes have caused more customers to need service from their insurance agents. I just wish I wasn't in a pickle right now.

12/18/24 Review: As another reviewer said, the Alandale-Acrisure transition took it to new lows. Non-existent customer service. If you want a broker that is not proactive, where you have to do all the follow up, wait a long time when you call, potentially be left with no insurance coverage, go with these guys. I see there is another Acrisure in La Habra that has very high reviews. I feel sorry for any office with the Acrisure name because this former Alandale office has tainted the Acrisure brand.
I received a notice of cancellation in September with 3 months until nonrenewal. Acrisure did nothing to help me get another policy even though they were notified. I called several times. I am now without coverage and looking to resolve my situation on my own.
When I called in October, customer service tried to blow me off, saying "it's too early", call back another time. When I told her the date of the notice of cancellation, she said ok, she'd assign it to an agent to work on it.
A month later, I hadn't heard back so called to follow up. I waited on the phone for 20 minutes with no human picking up.
A few days later, I called again and waited 10 minutes before getting to someone who then routed my call to "my assigned agent". She hadn't done anything. Now I had a week to find a policy.
She had me fill out forms. Gave me a policy that was about double what I was paying, but being out of time, I asked to sign up the nest business day.
I didn't get a response to my email so I followed up the next day. The agent finally called me and then mysteriously said she'd need to call me back. Later she emailed me and said she could not find me coverage after all that my case was complicated and needed more time. No kidding?!
I have several more policies and intend to find another broker. One reason companies acquire another is to acquire their customers. Looks like Acrisure is doing a great job wasting their money.

Service for us, sadly, had simply eroded slowly over the years to what they seem to be now, which to me feels simply like an insurance mill. We were with them what must have been close to 30 years. Periodically, they would review our account and suggest changes proactively (a phone call once or twice a year to check-in). It felt like they worked for us. About 5 years ago we noticed those proactive calls were all gone. If we had a question, we had to call in, then wait, and wait, and wait. They really seemed disinterested in our patronage. I suppose the final insult for us was that we initiated to change our insurance and never heard a peep. So, we left. Had they called when they learned we were leaving and tried to work with us, they probably would have kept our business as our reason for leaving wasn't about simply cost. Just not for me the same company they used to be and I would be hard-pressed to give a reason to choose them over another broker. Good news is that I am happy with our new agent. They seem to have the quality of customer services we used to experience with Alandale, that we hadn't experienced in a long long time.
