Hi we are a premier Landscape Design and Construction company based out of southern Orange County. The owners and architect of the company live in Silverado Canyon. We were so excited to see the beautiful local new development going in right next door and came by today to introduce ourselves and drop off a brochure but was so disappointed in the sales associate working there. She seemed annoyed, very short with us and told us she would be “slapped on the wrist” if she referred us to new residents. We understand if there are potential liabilities involved but Silverado canyon prides itself on community and its neighbors, such a bummer to meet the lady representing your new development going in.

Went to check out the houses that are getting built. We are always interested in upgrading to a larger house and wanted to see whats available. We went to the model home thinking it was just another open house like most other new developments.

We were wrong, as we walked to the house’s front door the agent was behind us and asked if we had an appointment. My wife said “we thought it was open to the public”. Before my wife could finish “public” the agent said very rudely, “NO NO NO, it by appointment only.” There is nothing posted that says appointment only. Then she starts to say how many people are on the waiting list and how many people are already are purchasing the properties and theres probably nothing left. All this before she said there are people with an appointment coming to view the properties.
Hugh? Ok, her tone insinuated that we had no business being there, maybe because we were hispanic and she was of European decent. IDK. News flash we can afford the properties. This is the lady who drives an older white BMW 3 class. Wont want to deal with her ever again. And has no business being in a customer service position. A better response would have been: “Im sorry, its by appointment only and I have clients coming over, if you want I can set you up a viewing sometime later.”…not so hard, is it?
