If I could give no stars I would!! Worst insurance company to have very rude, not helpful at all! If you actually have to use them they find a way to not help!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My ceiling fell in and they said it was nothing they can do

Terrible experience with this insurance company, what's the point in having home insurance if they don't cover anything? Had busted pipes due to winter weather that our area doesn't normally get and those pipes ruined areas in my subfloor. They immediately denied me. I will be getting the word out through social media about staying far away from this company. Perfect example to why they only have a 2 star rating.

I have had my insurance with this company for many years. I sold my first home, and have my new home with them. They always answer the phone, no machine to go through. They paid my claim promptly, and explained everything exactly. They go by the policy language, so like always, be responsible and know your policy. I hate to see people throw a fit when they don't know what they are actually talking about. Very courteous and professional company.

My parents had a home that they had insurance on through here. The policy was in my dad’s name and he passed away at the first part of November so I called them trying to do everything the right way. I spoke to the lady and she agreed that we would just leave it the way it was for now. So the Saturday after thanksgiving we got a cancellation letter in the mail. Which I guess I missed read I thought it was being canceled then but it was going to go through till mid December. I did call them on November 29 to tell them that I got the letter and I would be getting insurance somewhere else and that I wanted of a refund of the money that they took out of the account on the 19th and then I get the letter on the 27 that it was being canceled which I believe that is very unprofessional. They said that they would send a refund of the money taken out of the account so on November 30 they cut a check for 13.63 for the refund of the 111.45 they took out. On top of dealing with the death I have had to go out and get new insurance through State Farm which was better coverage and cheaper anyway. I suggest not doing business with any company that will treat a family dealing with the loss of someone this way. They have shown me the true character of them personally and professionally. I am very unhappy with my claim I submitted last month. This the second time submitting a claim with this company. My parents have had this insurance with this company as long as I can remember. I honestly I can not recall them submitting a claim. If they did it would have been when I left the house. My brother now lives in the house, whom by the way is a disabled vet. The roof has been leaking for two years due wind storm & rain, which we are covered. The same adjuster comes out & gives us the same answer about the damage. The last tome he came out & my brother had to our a tarp on the roof where the shingles have come off to keep it from raining in the house. I don’t know how he could not justify not having the roof replaced. And he didn’t put the tarp back on the roof like my brothers had & it rained some more in the house. I don’t know else I need to speak to have someone else to give another estimate, because I don’t if he’s does not think it needs it because it’s an holder house or in an older neighborhood or what. But that’s what I’m beginning to believe that’s what’s happened, because I’ve heard friends having their entire roof done for only couple of singles off & know damage on the inside.
Just very frustrated at this time & need answers.

Well, first of all, every time I call the women who answer are rude and act like I should be grateful to them. It's the other way around as I am the paying customer. I dont need them, they need me. Without the customers a business can't survive just ask circuit city haha. Plenty of fish in the sea and I found a cheaper place to insure my house with better coverage. Second, paying $1,500 a year for a house you own that has a security alarm that notifies the police with a bunch of cameras is outrageous. No claims on my house yet my rates go up because other people make claims? Stupidity at its finest. I switched to state farm and saved almost $500. Was it a good decision? You bet coz I can use that money for myself instead of an overly greedy company. Cheaper, better coverage, better customer service, better payment options? I say sign me up. 👎👎👎👎👎

Paid my insurance like clock work. 12-2020 we lost out PAID for home to a house fire. Not only will they not insure us again but dropped ins on my other property. Very poor business if you ask me. I could understand if we owed 150k or more on our home but we didn’t.

Very rude! What company doesn’t give a receipt when you’re making a payment online!!! Everyone nowadays uses emails and that’s an option that 99% of the companies offer or either a confirmation number.
