We just happened to come across the entrance and spotted the eclipse day sign they set up. I have to say, the men and women that set this up were incredibly friendly and helpful! My son and I had such a nice time and enjoyed the eclipse and am very thankful for these folks. We had a nice safe place to view the eclipse, art and crafts, and nice clean restrooms. THANK YOU!!!

i love the walking trails and have been on them before, but they could use some cleaning up. some of the small bridges don’t feel very sturdy and one of them has a giant hole in it.

WE were so fortunate to watch the solar eclipse April8, 2024 from this park. The volunteers and staff made the day possible with their helpfulness in providing transportation to the viewing section and clean facilities. It was an amazing day due to the location, the obvious, ECLIPSE, but really the great people running this location and making the day event possible. Thank you.

We went here for the eclipse yesterday and it was so wonderfully done. It was very well planned and efficient. Rides were provided from the parking area up to the viewing area. Educational materials were available inside the nature center. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had several friends from out of state join us, and it was the best possible experience.

I love the nature center! They offer so many wonderful activities to teach and involve children in the outdoors. The workers and volunteers are always kind and informative, investing a lot of time and effort into our children. It’s a blessing to have this in our community.

The volunteer Staff at this center, from the moment you pull up to the bridge, were so very helpful in accommodating ALL our needs for the day. The drivers of the vehicles to take people up to the viewing area were so very patient and made it good for all of us. It seemed all those here for the eclipse had a good day.
