Gary was so helpful and understanding of our needs with the last minute reservation at the George Bush International Airport in Houston. We originally booked with Dollar and were denied the requested vehicle due to using debit card on a round trip rental. Gary was able to accommodate us and provide a car seat at last minute with a smile on his face the whole time! We will definitely book with Alamo from now on!

This was the best rental car experience ever! Maybe because it was Fairbanks, but our agent was very pleasant and helpful, and we weren’t hounded about extra insurance, etc. We signed our contract, got our keys, walked out to the car, and off we went. The return was equally easy and pleasant.

I had a reservation for a vehicle a few days ahead of time. I was bumped to a later flight, so I called Alamo, they reassured me everything would be fine. I showed up, the agent said my reservation was cancelled, she’s overbooked, would not rent a car.
It was midnight by that time, and other options were stupid expensive. That’s a pretty serious “glitch” in the system, as she called it - won’t be renting from these guys again.

We had the best experience with Alamo (Enterprise) at fairbanks airport with the lovely Becky taking care of us. We even got our ride for an extra 6hrs on our last day free of charge as this suited our needs better. Our rental 4x4 RAM truck was flaweless - only the "winter" tires could have done a better job, us europeans are used to better quality here for sure. All in all we would definitely come back for any upcomming rental.

This spring I rented a car in Fairbanks from Alamo at the airport. When I returned it, the car was fine. After I returned to Anchorage they sent me a picture saying I damaged their car and now I’m getting stuck with a $500 bill after insurance ($3,500 before insurance). I’ve heard other people has had a similar experience with this specific car rental company and location. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s anything I can do other than pay and let others know to avoid renting from that place. The damage that was done looked like the car was simply just falling apart…😕 DO NOT RENT HERE
